After my car was serviced at Hyundai, they told me my clutch needs to be replaced. I thought that that might not be true, so I got more opinions from other places. In the end, I discovered that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my clutch. Hyundai quoted me R11 000.00+, for no reason. I was very shocked in how dishonest that seemed to be.

I am once again shocked with the service I received at Hyundai Menlyn. The car was due for the annual 15 000km service and I raised concerns regarding engine noise and tyre pressure sensor, yet these were handled with a complete lack of professional care. The air filter was not replaced, I was dismissively told it "wasn't dirty" and not due to be replaced. They could have at least blown it out with air. To ensure the car is running correctly, I payed an additional R571.32 to have it replaced. A proactive service center would have communicated this during the service rather than ignoring a customer's specific request. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is inaccurate (indicating 2.1 bar when the tyres are at the recommended 2.3 bar). Instead of calibrating the sensor, your technicians simply over-inflated the tyres to 2.7 bar to "force" the sensor to read higher. I had to stop at a petrol station immediately after leaving your workshop to correct this, as 2.7 bar is well above the safety recommendation. Over-inflating tyres is not a technical solution for a faulty sensor.

I took my car for service at Hyundai Menlyn, they did not adjust my handbrake that had been giving me issues. When I asked, the lady who does the adjustments was not truthful and said she adjusted it. If they could not do a simple handbrake adjustment, what else is lacking in their service, make me question what else they did not do. It is the third time I have asked for an adjustment, they cannot tell me what is wrong either.

After reading the chronic 1-star reviews, endless appologies and experiencing the horrible customer service several times I can honsestly say there is no hope for this branch. People have been complaining for years now and still there is no change, poor communication, rude telephone exchanges and horrible time management, not to mention the waiting time just to drop off or pick up your own vehicle for service. This was the last time I bring my car to Hyundai Menlyn, and I would urge everyone to rather go to another branch as well, do not waste your time like I did.

I have a concern—or rather, a complain regarding the service I received at MOTUS MENLYN MULTIFRANCHISE I took my car in due to an overheating issue, expecting it to be checked and repaired. However, when I got it back, the problem had worsened. It appears that someone failed to refill the water while working on it, causing the car to overheat even further. As a result, both the engine oil overheating and water warning lights came on. Fortunately, I was near a garage and was able to get temporary assistance to reach my workplace.I iPhones dealership where I was informed that the manager will call me indeed he did call and explain that probably there is a pipe leaking so they will check it when I return the car . Well I return ed it as per our agreement later I received a call from the sales lady that they want a consent to strip the car to access cylinder head well I gave them go ahead and it was stripped down to diagnose the issue. I received a report and a quote for repairs telephonically about R161 thousands and something.I went to review I was informed that nothing could be done.i must buy a new engine . My concern is that I drove my car to the dealership in a running condition, and now I am expected to take home a non-running vehicle—a complete wreck. Then the Forman informed me to buy a top , and some nails , oil, oil filter and silicone to put back together. Is about three weeks now since is there refusing to put back together. After such a long fight they eventually put back then manager Wade Jansen Van Rensburg sent email to say my car has been put back together then I can come and pay and tow it. Since I initially took in my car with a running engine, I expect to take it back in a similar working condition. A non-running vehicle is not what I left with—this is not my responsibility. Looking forward to your prompt response.

Hi everyone please be aware of Hyundai motus menlyn branch. I bought a 2021 model Hyundai with 45000km on it from them and they never mentioned the car was in an accident and it was done up, after purchasing the vehicle I never knew it was resprayed and so much work was done on it, 1 year later I needed to sell the vehicle and when I took it to a few evaluators everyone told me the vehicle was resprayed and it was in an accident, I went back to the dealership to sell it back to them they never wanted to purchase the vehicle back. So I advise everyone please do diagnostics on the vehicles before purchasing because it will pick up previous faults that was cleared also get someone to thoroughly check the vehicle because the dealership will **** you I will never buy a car from Hyundai menlyn they are pathetic and con artists
