Menlyn Mall hosts open air events with total disregard for the community in the residential suburbs all around. The events are held on Sundays, with excessive noise non-stop morning till after midnight. End of March 2026 residents from all around complained. Easter Sunday the "music" was so loud it was as if in our back garden 1.7km away in Garsfontein. Residents complained, the ward counsellors met with Menlyn's management and Tshwane, Menlyn made noise control undertakings. Which they did not honour Sun. 3 May 2026. This Mall has zero respect and consideration for their community. Should rename themselves to Money Mall.

Sunday evening 20:00 and the music from the Outdoor Events area is so loud that I could make a clear recording on my phone of the music being played. My house is about 3km away next to Constantiapark Primary. Menlyn clearly have no regard for the community around them. The message to the community: We don't care about the constitutional rights of the community.

Can they please fix that pothole on the entrance of atterbury road i got a puncture two passenger tyres gone and there were three cars that had stucked they hit those potholes too..

I went to Menlyn Mall this morning, supporting the businesses within the Mall. When I went to the parking pay station to pay for parking, it was displayed that during the festive season, parking is R15, as opposed to the usual R10. This is money ******ion. Doesn't Menlyn earn enough money through the rental they charge their tenants? Why does the centre management deem it necessary to take another R5 from every car parking at the mall during the festive season? We after all park there to support the mall's tenants. Menlyn will not see me again for the rest of the festive season. Woodlands Mall is closer to my house and they do not charge extra for parking because it is the festive season. It is a disgrace, Menlyn Mall.

What a nightmare of a service. I so regret taking their fibre product in store. First, the technician comes to install fibre without rooter. Weeks later, rooter still not delivered. I go back to the store & they have no answers. Eventually Lerato gives me a rooter and charges it as equipment which started the whole issue. Now I a billed R 1 699.00 for this rooter which was supposed to be part of this fibre package and installation. Might you the package chosen is supposed to charge us R655 per month! I have been @ this store 4 times from September with no resolution or accountability. Practically not even knowledge! On top of that, they suspend the account due to this incorrect billing then to top it all, I again get charged a “reconnection fee” which was caused by them to begging with. Customer care/ billing department or online sales department not able to help as this was an in store sale. What type of forward thinking telecoms organisation is this? We have lodged 3 disputes all and no joy! Not the best way to treat a new customer who is now on a verge of cancellation. Today, went again in store because they need to physically lodge a dispute to their billing colleagues. Lerato again does not even know what to write or how to phrase the dispute. She calls her manager and another colleague to come help, but to top it all, someone she knows walks in and they start talking about clothes and shops to go check out items from while supposedly trying to assist me. Talk about professionalism at Telkom Menlyn. Now I have to wait another 7 working days for the new case to be attended to. Lost all the faith! Can’t believe the blame shifting, it’s embarrassing! Store blames billing and online sales blames in store consultants…. What a mess!

The idea of going to a mall used to be a fun and exciting period between moms and daughters. These days, the idea is crippling and scary due to the nonchalant attitude of the Menlyn Mall Management Team. Women have been posting and sharing their stories on social media requesting safety measure improvements, closure of ***** exit points from the ladies toilets and we haven’t seen a statement or accountability on why they were opened in the first place. A number of women go missing, get drugged from those toilets and the management team is not doing anything. How are we expected to shop in peace and have the assurance that should nature call, we will be safe to use their toilet facilities? All we’re asking for is safety and security improvements because this mall has a lot of shops one can enjoy but due to this issue, it’s a big no for me, my family and friends.

I received a Menlyn Park Shopping Centre Gift Card for my birthday from a friend. Today I went to the Checkers in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre and selected items to purchase. All the items were scanned and I presented my gift card for payment. The cashier informed me that the gift card from Menlyn Park Shopping Centre does not work on their system. I could not understand, because I never had a problem like that in previous years. I spoke to a manager and he just apologised. I was upset because Checkers had no sign anywhere stipulating that the gift card won't work. Checkers told me to resolve ithe issue with Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. When I spoke to the employee at the info / gift card counter I was referred back to Checkers. They told me that this issue has been unresolved for 3 weeks already. I went back to Checkers and the manager insisted it is not a fault on their side but Menlyn Park Shopping Centre's side. I was humiliated and wasted my time and parking money because I had to leave empty handed. Neither Checkers nor Menlyn Park Shopping Centre took any responsibility for the gift card that was not working. Neither Checkers nor Menlyn Shopping Centre could tell me what the problem is. Checkers should have had a sign up to stipulatie that the Menlyn Park Shopping Centre gift cards does not work in their store. I would not have wasted my time if I had known. I also think they could have resolved the gift card matter if it was a priority for them. They have known about this for 3 weeks already but I guess a few customers wanting to use the gift card are not a priority and we are easily sent away empty handed. It is also Menlyn Park Shopping Centre's responsibility to make sure that when they sell a gift card it can be used in all the shops in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. The gift card that was given to me for my birthday should have brought me joy but in the end I was humiliated and had to leave upset without getting anything.
