Dear McDonald's Head Office,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service we experienced at your Pelican Park branch. Today, my husband visited the restaurant to place an order at the kiosk. After selecting his meal, he went to the counter to pay with cash. While waiting, the manager announced that, due to a shortage of sodas, all customers that have placed their orders would receive complimentary milkshakes. However, when he reached the counter with his order slip, she refused to help him. After he questioned this inconsistency, she explicitly ordered the other staff members not to assist him unless he paid for the milkshake. After this, she loudly shouted at him in front of the full restaurant. Despite his calm attempts to resolve the issue, she was extremely rude, shouting over other patrons, and refused to provide her name when asked. One staff member, Billy, even begged her to give her name, which she refused. This entire experience was completely unacceptable. Due to this, we had to drive from Pelican Park all the way to Ottery just to get our kids' meals. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and demand for this matter to be escalated with a formal response. Thank you for your attention.
