I am disappointed by the lack of urgency. R2,500 was taken from my Standard Bank Virtual Card on 21 Feb. I reported it immediately on 22 Feb. This was money for a critical payment that is now overdue, causing me severe financial distress. Standard Bank's excuse is that they are waiting for Mastercard, but their own policy promises 100% Zero ***** Liability for virtual cards reported within 2 days. Why am I being forced to wait 55 days while my bills go unpaid? Case Ref: 7071170729

I am overwhelmed with how they have awarded my daughter with a full scholarship, not only have they granted her the opportunity with just the finest towards her studies, they also managed to make my younger son have the sudden urge to want to attend university and know that studying could be made so comfortable. They really go out of their way to ensure students are well taken care of in every aspect from student support to mental stability and good health. All these aspects are extremely important to me as my daughter has mental heath issues but I know that she is fine during her 1st year of study at the University of the Western Cape. Thank You Mastercard

This is the adverti*****t with which your Mastercard is " sold" to you: "Mastercard provides Zero Liability protection, meaning you won't be held responsible for unauthorized transactions made with your card whether in-store, online, over the phone, or at ATMs, as long as you've used reasonable care in protecting your card and reported any loss or theft promptly. If you suspect *****, contact your bank or financial institution immediately." "Mastercard provides various measures to protect cardholders from ***** including Zero Liability protection, and ***** detection technology. If you suspect *****ulent activity on your Mastercard, you should immediately contact your bank or financial institution. Mastercard also offers support and resources for both consumers and merchants in case of suspected or confirmed *****." "***** Prevention Technology: Mastercard utilizes advanced technologies like Al and behavioral analytics to detect and prevent *****. " My credit card has been pushed from a zero balance to the maximum credit I have been allowed on ky card - de*****ed through my Standard Bank app on my phone - together with every other cent I hadbin ky account. Thus happened on the 14th of January 2025. Up to date the bank has added monthly interest to that credit card amount, account locked, allowing me no insight into the account, and a persistent claim from Standard Bank that the money is owed by myself, and should be paid to them by me. That is a total.contra****ion of their policy when "selling" you their product

Dear Visa I realised 3 months ago that I had a prepaid card that expired sometime ago and where I have a credit balance. After visiting 3 Nedbank branches, waiting in queues and trying to explain what I needed, I was referred to the Call Centre. I have made numerous calls and have been transferred from pillar to post but nobody has been able to assist me there either. Very frustrating to say the least. All I want to do is transfer the credit balance to a current account and cancel this card. Please advise if this is impossible or whether someone can assist me please. Thank you MG Valenti

Just to say thank you for having very good card fraud systems in place and monitoring scams etc. Top service to when some scammers stole money from my credit card. Quick and efficient service really helped prevent even more loss. Excellent service! 10/10.

Trying to renew my subscription with Canva.com and Capitec tells me that my Mastercard has been blocked because Mastercard has blocked all payments to Microsoft and Canva.com. I have tried contacting Mastercard with no response at all. I need this subscription for my work! And no way to contact Mastercard to sort this out. I even private messaged them on their Facebook page. Their customer support number on their website doesn't get answered. So annoying
