On 27 November, I personally waited 15 minutes with my kids for the shuttle because it was running late. I understood and assumed there may have been traffic or an accident. On another occasion, the shuttle even waited for an elderly white lady who was 3 minutes late. These experiences showed me that there was flexibility and empathy when circumstances were beyond a passenger's control. Yesterday, however, my 18‑year‑old daughter's flight was delayed by 17 minutes through no fault of her own. I phoned at 12:00 as soon as I learned about the delay, hoping the situation could be accommodated. Instead, she arrived at the pickup point at 13:32 and was told by the 15:30 driver that "it left a long time ago." This means that had the shuttle actually departed on time, she would have made it. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. The phones were not answered, and the WhatsApp number we are told to use is unreliable. When someone finally responded, the tone was rude and dismissive. This is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a young woman travelling alone.

Unhappy with the service and lack of help and rudeness from the lady that deals with their after hours number. She simply did not want to assist or help regarding the problem that I was having. She did not want to assist in moving the ticket to a different date which would of been used and did not want to provide a refund. I was simply told to contact the office and not their after hours number. Yet this matter took place on a Sunday. The principles are that she was rude and not willing to help, not the money.

My wife and I were regular customers of this company, until the following: On 21 April 2022, the owner/manager Jenny refused to wait 15 minutes to meet my tenant's Jhb to Dbn Kulula flight to arrive at dusk, which had been delayed due to the extreme KZN floods. As a result of this inflexibility, and rude and unhelpful attitude, my tenant, a 20yo female student, had to use a private taxi at a cost of R750. On 5 May 2022, to compound the problem, my tenant was not allowed to use her unused 21 April 2022 ticket, to return to Dbn airport for her flight to Jhb. It s understood that punctuality is important in this business, but the 21 April situation was extreme and unusual, and the refused trip was FROM Dbn Airport to the South Coast, not TO Dbn Airport, so punctuality in this case was not so important. The refused trip was all about MONEY, irrespective of taking the opportunity to help a vulnerable person in a traumatic situation, at night.

This business likes human decency and empathy. Ever you are in a position where your flight is extremely delayed and you just need three minutes wait they will not wait for you. You would say the service is for free the way they are so admin and not helping you to just ask the driver to wait three minutes. I personally would never use a service ever again will never use my money and businesses that can’t help you in emergencies never again.

If you need to travel from King Shaka Airport & Margate, anywhere in between, I will highly recommend Margate Coach. They are professional, efficient and I felt safe on both trips, to and from the airport. Their fee and costs are so low, that it makes it worth flying from Gauteng, rather than driving. They are very accommodating too!

If you need to travel from King Shaka Airport & Margate, anywhere in between, I will highly recommend Margate Coach. They are professional, efficient and I felt safe on both trips, to and from the airport. Their fee and costs are so low, that it makes it worth flying from Gauteng, rather than driving. They are very accommodating too!

Experienced bullying by the driver and passengers, was told to not talk on my phone because I'm disturbing them the white lady passenger told me to shut up and my language is irritating them.
