Request for Review of Graduation Date Change Decision

I hope this message finds you well. I did not want to bring the matter here, but from people who previously experienced this, this is the only way that MANCOSA resolves matters. I find this to be so wrong, as you have channels to resolve matters, but you never listen to your students.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the decision to decline my request for a graduation date change, despite the logistical challenges this poses for my family.

My husband and I are both graduating this year, but we have been assigned two different graduation dates. This arrangement significantly increases travel expenses and requires us to take multiple days off from work, which is neither practical nor cost-effective.

I believe that as an institution, MANCOSA has the flexibility to accommodate exceptional circumstances such as ours. A graduation ceremony is a momentous occasion for every graduand, and it would mean a great deal for my husband and me to celebrate this milestone together on the same day.

While we may have different surnames, I am confident that adjustments to the programme can be made to address this unique situation. I kindly request that you reconsider your decision and explore the possibility of aligning our graduation dates.
