We went to this restaurant today and it was honestly the worst experience. It was busy, so we expected a bit of a wait, but after an hour of sitting there, we had to get the manager just to find out where our food was. When it finally showed up 10 minutes later, it was a joke—everything was cold and tasteless. My dad’s prawns were terrible, my mom’s Seafood Boil was dry and missing half the items it was supposed to have, and my chicken was just as dry and flavorless. On top of that, our waitress completely ghosted us; she never checked if we needed more drinks, so we had to track down the manager again just to get a refill. But then things got really sketchy. As we were finishing up, my dad realized his phone was missing from the table. I started calling his number repeatedly. It was ringing, but no one was answering. My dad went toward the kitchen to ask the manager if anyone had turned it in, and while I kept calling, I spotted our waitress and could actually hear the phone ringing on her. At first, she tried to deny she had it, but once she realized she was caught red-handed, she finally handed it over. The manager stood right there and made this ridiculous excuse, saying it must have "accidentally" gotten stuck to the credit card machine when she brought the food. It was such a blatant lie that it felt like he might have been in on it. We asked for another manager and then for the owner’s number, but they just gave us the number for the lady who handles bookings. To top it all off, when the bill came, they’d added stuff we didn't even order. These people clearly don't care about service—as soon as they get busy, they completely fall apart and apparently start *****ing, too.

Excellent food ... despite the long wait. The baby chicken was cooked to perfection. 1/4 chicken on the kiddies menu despite asking us which part we preferred was only serving the leg portion. The steak was good as well... Service could definitely improve to make ones dining experience a bit more pleasant. The waiter was literally all over the place, never checked up if the meal was ok.. or if we neded any more drink etc...

Definitely worth a visit to this little gem. Great specials on Fridays for prawns and it doesn't disappoint. Live music is the cherry on top; Old school rustic vibes. The toilets where all clean and filled with toilet paper. Every place had a touch of thought even the ceiling has flags.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. We were there yesterday to and to much disappointment. The drinks we ordered were out they have very limited drinks and all was starting to finish, our food half an out to 1hour wait we got told they do not have any more chips we must chose between rice or mash. The food finally came two hours later my husband well done steak was basically quick flash grilled as it was still raw on his plate, my trinchado tasted like the meat was washed with dishwashing liquid my sons fish fingers came as a fish steak and his good came to the table late. As for the main manager a white guy. Very rude unfortunately didn’t get his name. Oldish guy. 1st Didn’t even have a mask on 2. Had a check to tell my husband that the food is impeccable only thing that changed was the chilies. 3. Told us that we making this nonsense up as we know the previous owner. 1. I have never met the 1st owner As there was no need to as the food was at a very high standard. The new manager atitude stinks and shouldn’t be in that business. As for the staff working there, we have no issues with. Food really terrible and main manager attitude disgusting. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Laurentina Harties Management. On Saturday 17th October 2020 at we ordered your 12 x Queen Prawn’s combo with rice as well ordered an additional Greek Salad. The salad was fresh which we enjoyed. The Queen Prawns we ordered looked fine although did not taste as fresh enjoyed elsewhere, but instead we finished the prawns served to us under impression it was freshly fried. On Sunday, 18th of October 2020, the lady started experiencing a high fever with running stomach. On Monday it felt that she was going to dy. You are free to call her yourself...079 493 8954(Eunice May). After taking medication she only felt better yesterday, 20th October 2020. On the early hours of the 19th October 2020, I experienced exactly the same symptoms, high fever, serious running stomach and scamps whole morning and day. The Chemists at Dischem Krugersdorp prescribed me strong Imodium’s & Gen-Payne and to drink sufficient Energade! I only started to felt better on the morning of 21 October 2020. You are free to call myself on 082 493 9461 (Anton) to confirm. I am deeply disappointed in the quality of Laurentia Harties Prawns and will never even try any of the other branches not suggest to friends. I don’t come to a restaurant and spend a few hundred of rands with the intention to enjoy prawns which after wards makes us seriously ill. This is totally unacceptable. If I ever visit any of the Laurentia branches are questionable!! I will gladly forward you my receipt op payment on Saterday, 17 October 2020 to verify our presence at Laurentina Harties.
