I shop at checkers almost l every other day 🤞. I sometimes just go from isle to isle comparing prices and identifying new products. (Yesterday though I did not swop my Checkers card the teller did not ask 🫣 I was refilling 4 X bottled water and three small items to make sambals for my curry lunch I was having with my friends during the afternoon) Ok, anyway on my exit I decided to buy Lotto. Here is where great service starts.👉 I have been keeping a Lotto ticket which I knew won but each time I take it for cash up the tellers would direct me to the blurred bar code at the bottom and they would then send me back packing. Even though each time I was aware that the bar code was not the only identifier the long numbers when punched would bring up the status and the amount the ticket was worth (obviously this exercise would take an additional minute and most young african adults behind these counters are either lazy, have attitude mostly towards their fellow indegenous humans even have a greater attitude towards the elderly indegenous persons .. so I would just take back the card and place it back in my purse) BUT! not this time 💃.I was about to be bedazzled by the service of extraordinary 2 young African females🤗 these ones I will refer to them as "CONSULTANTS" ...It's a lot ! I won't get to the details as that will be too long....I JUST Want to Mihle was the first one to start this avalanche of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" 🔥🤗❤️🙏that quicky rubbed off to and was followed through by Mapule🤗 These two young ladies are just a perfect example of what true witty yet respectful customer service is all about. When I win this Lotto I will sure remember MIHLE & MAPULE. Keep up the good work young ones your promotion is neigh 🙏

I recently visited La Parada Kyalami for the first time, having had great experiences at other La Parada locations. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. The only highlight of the night was the music. A young DJ named Lungi, whose name I asked because of how talented he was, played an exceptional set. His music selection and energy created an amazing vibe, and I truly appreciated his performance. However, the restaurant service was terrible. We waited over an hour for a pizza, and in the meantime, we had to go to the bar ourselves just to get our drinks. When I confronted our waiter about the delay, instead of resolving the issue, he simply gave me excuses and complained about having too much work. The management was nowhere to be seen, making it clear that there was no leadership ensuring the staff did their jobs properly. Compared to other La Parada branches, this one was a huge letdown. The service was simply unacceptable, and unless something changes, I wouldn’t recommend this location. If not for DJ Lungi’s fantastic music, the experience would have been a complete disaster.

Here I was strolling in the shopping centre as I do on a daily basis, but today Friday 1 September, I accidently walked into a Big Pile of Stinking Dog ****, right in the middle of the floor inside the mall, next to the Nedbank ATM’s. To my horror! What was most disappointing is the Kyalami Corner management who was not apologetic or sympathetic , explaining that they have a dog policy and its just one of those things. I was brushed off as if I was nothing, maybe because i am a black female
