Man, the quality and service of Jerry's burger bar has really dropped over time. After some beach volleyball, I thought I could grab dinner at Jerry's and head home. A waitress named Alyssa served me, and if you're ever (un)lucky enough to have her serve you, be prepared for a miserable experience at Jerry's. I ordered a chicken burger and chips and it was served to me cold and the bottom burger bun was really wet. Which tells me it was probably sitting in the window for a long time. I told my waitress about it and she told the manager who came up to me and apologized and said that there was one cook who didn't turn up for their shift today. I returned my cold chips and didn't even want new chips. I don't think the cook was responsible for the cold food, it was likely just sitting in the window waiting to be picked up which explains the soggy bottom bun. The manager offered nothing but an apology and was on his way. If staff here don't care about their patrons, then why does a place like Jerry's deserve our patronage? This place is overpriced, for food and service. It used to be good before. This is probably my last time going there.

Went there for get take away food for 4 people paid for 4 meals gave tip on the full bill got only 3 meals after phoning they refused to bring the food 200 m away to the apartment and they refused to refund me when I went there the next day I refused to walk out without my refund the manager is not a person that I will have as my friend his way is the only way he made me feel as if I made the mistake not them I left with the refund lost the tip on that meal. And the steps to the entrance door was so dirty.

My friend and I were in the mood for a burger and decided on a whim to go to Jerry's in Willowbridge. What a lovely experience. We ordered the Philly burger and the Frenchy which we subsequently divided to each try the other's. Most impressive. Juicy, well cooked, more than enough toppings. And the sweet potato fries were the best I've had in a very, very long time. And a big shout out to our server, Kat. She was attentive, friendly and offered wonderful suggestions. We will definitely be back

My friend and I were in the mood for a burger and decided on a whim to go to Jerry's in Willowbridge. What a lovely experience. We ordered the Philly burger and the Frenchy which we subsequently divided to each try the other's. Most impressive. Juicy, well cooked, more than enough toppings. Sadly Herman, the manager on duty at Jerry's Burger Bar Willowbridge, Tygervalley, in an instant took me, my wife and colleague back to pre 1994 South Africa with his actions and response on Sun 12 June when we walked into the establishment for the first time, looking to grab some lunch. I asked for a seat at a larger table in front of the resturant. The manager Herman, told us the table was booked for a group. So we went to sit at another table. About 30 minutes later, a couple came into the restuarant and they asked for a table and then proceeded to take the seats at the table we had asked for. 45 Minutes later, I asked the manager why he had not extended the same courtesy to the three of us for the same table as by now it was clear that there was no large group. Herman very rudely just shrugged, huffed and walked away without responding. Not only was his response disconcerting and unprofessional, but I am left to wonder if the fact that the couple was white and we were 3 coloured persons had anything to do with his decision?

As we got to reception there was nobody around to greet us apart from someone (looked like the manager) standing talking on his phone. He completely ignored us and we stood around like idiots until he was done, he then rudely asked if we had a reservation and when we said no he arrogantly scoffed and said that we should always book. Its amazing how some restaurants cry for business from locals during the year but then during the busy season they treat those same customers like dirt. We took our business elsewhere and instead spent over R3500 at Rocomamas which was an awesome experience with friendly staff and excellent food. Jerrys needs to focus on their customers and at very least have staff in place who know how to deal with customers instead of alienating them, poor show.

From the best service to a minus zero hygiene environment. Yesterday was the 1st time I visited Jerry's at Willowbridge mall. After a early morning session with a college we were starving. We entered the malls parking and my colleague said thats the place Jerry's we going to. On arrival we were greeted with so much happiness and the staff was just so happy and full of energy... We were seated and a waiter came introduced herself. Took our drinks orders, the place only had about 6 clients in so we got our drinks in a swift.. The waiter took our meal order and in 10 to 15 min we got our food. Hot and fresh smelling very good. I dug into it immediately. Myself and my colleague was busy eating a d I still made a statement that I'm definitely bringing my family there over the weekend... While I'm enjoying this meal I turn and see the worst thing I ever want to see In a restaurant. A big ****roach walking on the wall so close to my face and table. I Immediately jumped up everyone looking at me, I got up from the table and sat at the table next to our. I am a very OCD person when it comes to hygiene. I don't care if the food was nice how the hell does the restaurant have ****roaches. To top it all the waiter came to our table and said she's sorry and that I don't even have to tell her as she saw. Almost like it always happens. My question is of u know your restaurant have roaches then do something. I think she went and told the manager or owner. They did not even bother to come to is... How bad is that... We just paid our bill (tipped) the waiter as her service was great and left.... How can the manager /owner just walk pass our table several times and don't even bother to freaken come up to us and ask us about this. I am personally never putting my foot in that place Never. No matter the food is Excellent. The fact that they have roaches says it all...

This review in relation to Jerry’s Burger Bar in Blouberg. Last night was probably the 4th time in a matter of months that we we served cold food and it had to be sent back to warm up. Whereas the service is superb , the quality of the food has deteriorated since the first time we have been to the venue. So sad.
