Despite several requests for my morning newspaper to be left in my letterbox, the delivery person has just ignored the request. I have found the newspaper on my carport roof, drenched despite the plastic wrapping and often haing to look for the newspaper. The deliverer couldn't care because he opens his car window and chucks the newspaper from his driver seat.. Several requests have fallen on deaf ears for the paper to be left in my letter box. Too much effort for the delivery man because he would then have to get out of his car to make the delivery.

They stopped delivering the newspaper at home. I queried for 6 straight weeks, i constantly got excuses. I eventually cancelled because it didn't look like there are going to solve the problem. the cancellation was done on the 4th October 2024. they said it will take 4 weeks to refund. I followed on this refund 6 weeks later and the client services agent still cannot say when refund will take place.

We as a business have a yearly subscription with the Cape Times, however often it is not delivered. I emailed several people at the Cape Times NO one even answered me. Monday and Tuesday we did not get the paper. I've mailed both days, I am STILL waiting for an answer.

I have been trying to get ahold of this business for the past 2 weeks. They have stopped sending out Isolezwe and whenever I call they answer and make me hold for an agent and dropped the call. I have been calling them no avail.

After being a subscriber to The Star for over 30 years I no longer live in Gauteng and despite a written cancellation sent to Independent Newspapers in April my account is still being debited. I assume that the new owners of my old house are still receiving the paper at my expense

I placed a legal advert in the newspaper for a deceased estate. The account has been paid twice in error. we are waiting for a refund and have sent the proof of payment and supporting documents. The accounts department do not acknowledge my monthly follow up e mails and have not refunded the overpayment since receiving proof in February 2023

I made a block booking for 4 weeks for an ad in The Plainsman and paid the full amount in advance, because no ad without payment.....ad ran end of March & 1st week in Feb.....the ad ran for 2 weeks without any response so i cancelled and requested a refund.....i contacted the salesperson whom i placed the ad with and she confirmed the refund request.....i have contacted them on numerous occasions only to be told its being processed.....last week i was asked for bank details which i submitted.....this week, the supervisor is on leave and nobody answers the phone when i call them......PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!
