Took my grand i10 for a 120000km service and the consultant called to inform me that the technician noticed a fuel pump leak and requested R2800 to get it fixed and I said no they can continue with the service and I’ll fix this later. When I collected my car driving home the car smelled of fuel so bad but it was just 10 mins drive. Next day I had to drive longer and I couldn’t because of the smell. This was not the case before this service so whatever happened, happened when they were working on my car but this unfortunately is now my problem.

I've bought a few cars from Hyundai Springs. Took my Hyundai Venue 2021 (50 000km) in for a trade in as I want to downgrade to a smaller/cheaper car. I was offered R180 000 trade in! We all need to make money but this offer was beyond pathetic. Needless to say I won't be supporting Hyundai again.

Bought a Car from Hyundai Springs Branch on the 10 December 2025 the car needed to be collected from their head office in Bedfordview asked the sales guy to fetch early because i needed to be at home at before 16:30pm so they delayed from collecting the car it got to springs around 16:30pm and they had to wash it because it was dirty fine i waited after that the car was clean we had to go the petrol station to fill up the car because it had not petrol, more delay on my side it was around 17:00pm the sales guy tells me we urgently need to go back to the shop because there was important insurance papers i needed to sign, asked him can i do it in the morning because it is really late and not fami**** with an Automatic transmission and it will be dark soon he refused and said it will be quick on our way there and should have not left the shop without signing them , i was driving and stopped because of the automatic i was still getting used to, the same guy who sold me the car, bumped into me at back the traffic offices came and took statements I asked him what now he said I had to drive back home with a broken car , went to the dealer in morning and to see the important paper i needed to sign, they said no already signed it, there was no need for me to go back to the shop, the guy agreed that he was wrong they and the Sales manager said he will speaker to the management regarding the matter and because i wanted them to take the car and give me new one or fix car , they wanted my insurance to pay for it and i refused , they made me go to the penal beaters to get a quote to find out how much will it be to fix the car , the sales Manager needed to give all the details to the management to see how they can fix my matter it was Thursday morning, we went to quote, they could not give it to me immediately because it is a new car and it was hard to get the parts and advise they will email it to me, went back to dealer and told them information and they said i must get a quote from my insurance to see how much it will be my insurance evaluated the car and advise how it be. Friday morning went back to the dealer to advise about my insurance and to hear about their feedback regarding assisting me with this matter because it was their sales guy who bumped me, the panel beater has not sent the quote it was one of the reason why they can not give me feedback, but he will give them my feedback and my requirements the matter must be fixed before they close the shop at 12 for their prayers, i waited and waited from 09h00 no feedback and had to leave at 12 because they were closing they will let me know what they decide when they come at 14h00pm, they did not respond on Friday the whole day. I decided to draft a formal letter to informing them about my options and that the contract it is still within the cooling off period and i will take the matter to the ombudsman wrote the letter on Sunday morning and sent it so that they receive the letter on Monday hoping they will respond and no respond till today, Monday 14 Dec 25 morning went to there to get feedback and they advised that they did receive the letter and the matter is not in their hands anymore because i sent the letter and copied everyone, the sales guy is no longer involved and i should speak to the management, i left and went back on the 23rd to find out about feedback and the sales Management advise that they will not be assting any more and if i want to go to the obudsman i should go and tell them that they did not respond and he does not know why they have they not responded and but he knows for sure they will not assist me, because of my demands, they can not give a new car or fix it and lower my installments and i left with no help and now i am waiting for my insurance to open to fix my brand new car that was bumped by my sales person from Hyundai springs branch :(
