Unauthorized Debit Orders and Misuse of Personal Information
This company decided to start debiting funds from my account without my knowledge or consent. After doing enough research, I found out it was linked to a loan application I had made.
Before they post the same copy-and-paste reply they leave on everyone’s reviews, let me make this clear: they never called me, never asked for confirmation, and I never agreed to any funeral policy or service.
They clearly get people’s personal details from loan application companies, which raises serious concerns about how our private information is being shared. It also makes you question whether these online loan companies are even following POPIA regulations properly.
This is an expensive life lesson, but people need to be aware of what is happening. Companies like this need to be exposed for taking money from people’s accounts without proper authorization.

We’d like to clarify.The queries we receive in these cases are often similar in nature, as they relate to debit orders linked to optional cover selected during an online loan application process with one of our partner providers. Our process does not involve outbound calls to activate or confirm cover. Instead, the option is presented during the application journey, and the policy and mandate are authorised by the client themselves through multiple on-screen confirmation steps, where the selection must be actively approved more than once before a mandate is created.That said, each query is reviewed individually, and where a policy may have been selected unintentionally or a client no longer wishes to continue, we do assist with cancellation and further resolution.For privacy and security reasons, we are unable to discuss personal information on this platform.
