I had such a great experience at Gelmar Randburg. The customer service was absolutely excellent from the moment I walked in. Lerato assisted me and he was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable about the products. He went the extra mile to make sure I found exactly what I needed and made the entire shopping experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to receive service that is both professional and genuinely welcoming but Lerato truly delivered outstanding service. Thank you again for the amazing assistance I will definitely be returning and recommending Gelmar Randburg to others.

We purchased window blinds from Gelmar in Amanzimtoti following their tremendous service. We had tried other local suppliers - poor responses! Gelmar Toti branch was extremely helpful, efficient and patient with us while explaining the many options. Kewan came to our flat to double check measurements and suitability., so professional and helpful. What a wonderful company to engage with. We recommend them without any hesitation !!!!

We purchased window blinds from Gelmar in Amanzimtoti following their tremendous service. We had tried other local suppliers - poor responses! Gelmar Toti branch was extremely helpful, efficient and patient with us while explaining the many options. I would like to to just appreciate Gelmar staff for constantly calling me to collect my online, store collection order I made 29th March 2026. The message, calls etc might seem annoying to others but to me they are attentive. And to the cashier Nolovia at the Princess Crossing branch, what a delight to have the pleasure of being served by her. She just provided me with the kind of service I haven't received in a while as she went over and above. Thank You.

Gelmar hillcrest branch review. The lady that takes orders for custom blinds, ****ed up all the blinds. Just recently tried hanging them and the lengths and widths are all reversed. I previously only thought it was the one blind that was wrong as I don't have a window that has 400mm drop and is 1250mm wide. When I went to exchange the one , they said it was my mistake for not checking if all was in order (not me trusting that their employee(s) know the difference between length and width) I can somewhat understand 1 wrong order but all 3. All 3 is gross negligence to the point that the measurements were written legibly and stated L for length and W for width. For reference w=wide and L=drop. Think the staff member needs to be reminded of this. Sh*tty part is I can't/won't get my money back nor will they make any further alterations to my orders. Disappointed 😞 truly as this was undeniably the fault of the worker, mine was oversight, thinking people know how to do their respective jobs. Gelmar needs to get their workers to do more trainings, and give some leeway to customers who were wrongly footed a bill in bad faith.

I visited the Gelmar Willow Bridge branch in Cape Town on 4 March 2026 to purchase a Fauxwood Venetian blind. The Gelmar March 2026 advertising brochure showed the various blinds on offer, with a side note that reads "trim your blind while you wait" No trimming price is shown anywhere on the brochure and I was not told about a fee to trim the blind when I asked to have the blind I wanted to buy trimmed. However, upon payment I was issued with a trimming fee invoice of R250 on top of the price of the blind I purchased. Furthermore, I was told that I will have to return the following day, as the trimming cannot be done while I wait as the brochure stated. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager acknowledged that the advert in the brochure can be misleading, not showing any cost for trimming their blinds but that he could not do anything about it, and that he would take it up with their marketing department. I paid for the blind and the R250 trimming fee and left the store VERY unhappy for having to pay a trimming fee, and having to return to the store the following day to collect the blinds purchased.
