I requested assistance for a garage door motor issue and was attended to by a technician named Arno. Without conducting a proper inspection, he advised that the motor required repairs and indicated a potential cost of up to R3,500. I declined the repair after establishing that a replacement motor would be significantly more affordable. Subsequently, I was informed that the repair had already been authorized and completed—without my consent—and that I was liable for payment. Despite clearly disputing this, I was pressured into paying R2,650 in order to retrieve my motor.
