I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from EB MOTORS SANDTON following the purchase of a vehicle from them. I collected the vehicle on 23 December 2025 in good faith, trusting that the dealership had conducted proper checks and due diligence before handing it over to me. Unfortunately, within a matter of weeks of purchase, I began experiencing serious mechanical issues with the vehicle something that should never happen with a vehicle sold by a reputable dealership. Shortly after collection, I noticed a fault with the front driver’s side wheel, which required me to return the vehicle to the dealership. While this specific issue was attended to, it quickly became clear that the vehicle had pre-existing problems that were not disclosed at the time of sale. As a result, I was forced to incur significant, unplanned costs on a vehicle that I had owned for less than a month. This is completely unreasonable. A customer should not be required to spend additional money repairing a vehicle so soon after purchase especially when those issues are a direct result of the dealership’s failure to properly inspect the vehicle before selling it. What makes this situation worse is that the dealership has since closed the sale and distanced themselves from the matter, leaving me financially stranded due to expenses that I should never have had to pay in the first place. I have lodged a formal complaint and allowed the required 10 working days for resolution, as advised by the Motor Industry Ombudsman. That period ends this coming Friday, yet I have received no satisfactory resolution and no accountability from the dealership. This entire experience has caused me financial strain, inconvenience, and stress, all because of the dealership’s lack of due diligence and responsibility. I am posting this to: • Highlight the unacceptable standard of service I received • Warn other potential customers • Put pressure on the dealership to take accountability and resolve this matter fairly I am still seeking: • Reimbur*****t of costs incurred • Accountability for the sale of a defective vehicle • A fair and reasonable resolution At this point, I cannot recommend EB MOTORS SANDTON to anyone, as my experience shows a complete disregard for customer care once the sale is completed.
