I recently bought a brand new Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up from the dealership. I drove the vehicle home with the odometer at 5km when I noticed a t*******/knocking sound from the rear suspension/shocks. The front tyres were also s****ing against the front mudguards when turning. I called and complained about this. I had to take the vehicle back and they kept my bakkie almost 4 days. When I arrived they had removed the entire front mudguard and threw it in the back of my bakkie, telling me that this was the solution to the s****ing, leaving the entire front end looking like the mudguard was ripped off. They also fit a bonnet guard to my bakkie, which looks like it was done by a 5 year old, the bonnet was scratched and the guard is skew. My bonnet also now vibrates when driving/idling. They informed me that they cannot locate the problem on the suspension/shocks that make the noise but agreed that there is a noise when hitting uneven road and humps. I was told to drive like this as there was no problem. I tried complaining about this, sending multiple emails to the salesman and the manager at Mahindra Eagle corner. I don't hear anything from them. My bakkie has 3000km on the clock, parts have been removed and stripped, the knocking sound is still on the bakkie and I am told, "live with it". Think twice before visiting this dealership. I have heard from several people on Mahindra Forums that they had a similar problem, where their dealerships replaced the rear shocks and leaf springs without questions as the bakkies were also new and the issue was resolved. It is clear that the technicians at this dealership don't even know their own product. Zweli and Irvin make big promises prior to the signing of the contract. Now I have to drive up and down to a dealership 80km away from my residence with a brand new bakkie that has no "problems" according to them. I also visited a private suspension dealer, who I informed of my problem. They immediately knew what the problem was after driving with me but obviously could not work on the bakkie as it was under warranty. (which doesn't mean much I see) They too told me to replace the rear shocks and leaf springs.
