If I could allocate a zero, I would. Terrible service for a migration, been debited incorrectly, incurred additional bank fees and yet still no call. Back and forth on email with no actual resolution.

I have opened a contract with comtel for a flat in big bay western cape. Reason was because unfortunately being a complex you have a small selection of providers to choose from and they do not have any of the good ones, like webafrica or cool ideas. It costed me 2200 rand to install a fibre that was already there because their fibre provider advise I need a 1.5k routerboard (for what?), then I wait another 3 days for my router to be delivered, since it kept being delivered to the wrong address from courier guy (another terrible company) and lastly when my router arrive and I should just plug it and being able to use it, it doesn't work because the wireless password provided is WRONG. I call their support to reset the password, and for THREE TIMES they tell me they will open a ticket, investigate and call me back. Only to find out after the third time that NO TICKET WAS EVER OPENED. Then they said it's a fibre installer issue because they can't see the modem on their system and they got to escalate it to them and nothing will be solved until Monday (On a Friday night, I have a customer in the flat and it means he has no internet for all his stay). I am able to find another router, I call them back and advise I am going to use my own router, provide me with the PPoE details. They advised they CAN'T PROVIDE TO ME MY OWN DETAILS FOR SECURITY AND I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER ON MONDAY. I NEVER heard of something like this with ANY other operator I have used before. I am speechless, I never saw such terrible support. I will cancel with them ASAP, they should not even be in business.

Wow what a great experience I had with their support especially Charlton. I needed help with figuring out why my internet wasn't working on a Friday evening and he phoned me to help me do some test, stayed checking that everything worked and phoned me again to confirm that everything was still working. So very impressed by this service and would recommend them to anyone.
