laced I sent my galaxy S20 plus in for a screen replacement to Royal Classic Trading, Polokwane in Sept 2021. I was told that the camera shutter was faulty and they quoted me R7400.00. There was nothing wrong with the camera as i take photo`s every day as required by my work. As the phone was with them for a while i paid the amount told them to do the repairs. I received my phone back and after about a month my screen went black. I contacted them and had to sent in phone again. They repaired the phone without any costs. About a month later the same happened and had to sent in phone again. This time they quoted me for a screen replacement and camera lens. The camera lens has a very small, barely noticeable, scratch and it did not effect my camera in any way at all. This time the quote was about R8400.00. I contaacted them and was told that the screen and camera screen had to be replaced. I sent for my phone to be picked up. I then discussed the problem with a cell repair shop in Tzaneen. They agreed to open phone in front ofd me to establish what and why my screen went black. As soon as the owner of the business open my phone he noticed that the cable strip which plugs into printed circuit was damaged. I took some photo`s of the damaged parts. He replaced the circuit board and my quoted me 5,000.00. I agreed as i could not sent my phone to Royal Classic Trading every 2 months. I then contacted n Mr Mohammad at Royal Classic Trading and he he told me that he can do nothing as my phone is already repaired and that he cannot refund me. He then gave me a number to sent the photos via whatsapp but number does not work. I think that the staff Royal Classic Trading, Polokwane is not very helpfull and that their technicians are useless and not very trust worthy. I would never recommend anybody to do any business with then.

Intercity removals is the rebranded version of Classic Removals. It is convenient that they rebranded after all the bad reviews online. The client service is horrible. Mandy is Rude to people and like the many other bad reviews, they break items and refuse a refund. When you call them and complain it is like they are used to receiving feedback from unsatisfied customers. They told us the truck would arrive on Friday night and they just did not answer the phones. If I receive bad service from other companies they at least try and fix the problem or apologize. Intercity Removals/ Classic removals are not bothered by this. As soon as they have your money you are on your own.

We recently had our goods delivered a week late. We had just relocated to Cape Town and were left stranded as our furniture was stuck in Durban, with claims of a broken down truck (the driver pretty much did mention, they wait for truck to fill before dispatching) the other truck was claimed to be in Cape Town (driver showed pictures of the accident he was involved in an accident on the 16th of October in Pinetown). So all stories were just lies. The lady that was handling our move (Vannessa) her manners were disgusting and had no concern for the fact that our 12 month child couldn't move as his Cot was in Durban. I do not recommend using this company if you value your goods

<p>PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They seem to break every rule in the book when it comes to running a business. Communication is awful, they did not listen to instructions, their customer service is non-existent. Mandy is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The truck did not leave Durban when scheduled because of a broken down truck. Apparantely they had ordered the wrong part which further delayed the trip. Or so we were told. We had to chase them for updates. When our stuff finally arrived in Cape Town I said I wanted a discount which of course was met with a no. Payment had to be made prior to delivery so basically if you try to withhold payment to sort out any issues, your goods are held to ransom. We've got some broken furniture and there were dirty boot marks all over our white dining room chairs. I've moved countries and had better service. Please don't use them. Moving is stressful enough. And what's worse is that my emails have been ignored. They really don't care. Go with a more well-known company not this one obviously run by a bunch of bozos.</p>

<p>Stay far away- once classic removals have your goods they will hold you to ransom- our final invoice was increased by over 40% from the quote we accepted paid a 50% deposit on almost two months before the moving date!</p> <p>Here's the confusing bit they actually sent someone to our house to specifically asses the load for the quotation. How is it possible to make such as massive miscalculation?</p> <p>Next saga how dare you ask for a delivery date! It's considered by their staff as rude and unnecessarily demanding! Nobody cared that our animals were been kennelled and the delays were costing us just under R500 per day.</p> <p>Finally don't ever expect anyone to call you and give you feedback even complaints and requests to speak to management are ignored. The senior managers are nameless phantoms who are always predisposed!</p>

<p>We used Classic Removals when we moved from Durban to Johannesburg. We paid for wrapping for our items. Our bed arrived wet in Joburg even though it was wrapped. We made a complaint to the company. A month late we are still waiting for management to review the issue and the so called spokes person who answers calls is extrememly rude. It is shocking that a company can treat customers this way. It seems once you pay them their money they are no longer bothered. Our bed has a bad smell now and has stain marks which were never there prior to us moving. </p>

<p>My friend refered me to Classic removals as his friend was the owner. i was reloacting from Durban to JHB. i recieved a quote of R12000 for the journey, they then suggested i pay an extra amount of R2500 for bubble wrapping and plastic wrapping all the items. i agreed.</p> <p> </p> <p>they came to my premises on Thursday the 5th of January with a 8 tonne truck. They spent the day removing my furniture ansd wrapping all items of value. the lady in the office assured me the truck would arrive the following day as i had paid and booked first. they would arrive at 11am on friday. i left durban at 2am with my car so i would arrive to let the truck into our new premises in JHB.</p> <p> </p> <p>Upon arrival i phoned to query the whereabouts of the truck to which they replied to me that the truck had broken down and would only arrive on saturday morning. so being someone who doesnt usually complain i said ok and spent the night sleeping on a carpet in the bedroom with a pillow and a towel. on saturday morning the driver from Classic phoned me at 9am saying he was lost. i gave him directions, he then asked me if his large truck would be allowed on the estate. i said no, i have sent all the truck measurements to the office already. not once was i told that a large truck would be used from classic ( not the same as the truck which collected my furniture). the driver told me he would see me shortly.</p> <p> </p> <p>At 1pm i phoned to ask where he was, he stated he had to do his other deliveries first and would come to me afterwards. i phoned the office and asked why i was not first as they had let me down the previous day and the driver had phoned me at 9am saying he was battling to find the estate. The lady told me they had to do their saturday deliveries unfortunatly. i waited till 3pm, at this time the driver phoned me again and told me that the estate will not let him in due to his truck being too large. i replied saying i had told him this already why did he still come with it? it is now 3pm how am i supposed to organise something at 3pm.</p> <p> </p> <p>the office told me they would now organise a shuttle bakkie to transport from the gate to my house. At 6pm i decided to drive to the gate to find out what was happening. the driver told me the shuttle was still on its way. He then suggested he comes back the following day as he could not transportthe goods into the estate at night. i asked if i could atleast get a tv out the truck as i had now been sitting at home with no furniture for 2 days. as well as no communication so that i could atleast leave and find something to keep me occupied. it was then that i saw the truck was leaking water and most items were soaking wet.</p> <p> </p> <p>Sunday...</p> <p>The driver arrived at 1pm with a smaller truck and delivered my furniture to my house. upon inspection of a few items i noticed my brand new samsung fridge ( which had been bubble wrapped ) was badly damaged on the freezer door. boxes were soaking wet and had to be carried in on blankets as they no longer resembled a box. the driver said his truck badly leaks when it rains. i made note of damages on his drivers note.</p> <p> </p> <p>since unpacking the house my wife and myself have found many items damaged. Fridge, our Dining room table, all linen including curtains and duvets are ruined as the colours have run due to the moisture. furniture is missing legs and now is no longer uselful... absolutely shocking seeing as i paid R2500 extra for it to be wrapped.</p> <p> </p> <p>i spoke to the company and i said i required R4000 back , i had paid this amount extra when the truck arrived as they said the furniture was more than i had put on their list to quote. the owners reply was that as they had used a shuttle bakkie to transport the furniture from the gate to my house they would not charge me for this and we can call it quits. </p> <p> </p> <p>i find this absolutely appaling. the damage to my furniture is well over R20 000. i paid extra for it to be wrapped. the driver was aware his truck leaks. i had to stay from friday morning till sunday evening without any furniture. i slept on a carpet on the floor for 2 nights. the company refuses to reply to any complaint. i have looked on facebook and i see many other similar complaints which are left unnattended.</p> <p> </p> <p>'this company should not be in operation as far as i am concerned and people should know what they are about.</p> <p> </p> <p>THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE</p> <p> </p>
