I have been trying to get in contact with Matlosana traffic department for over 3 months now with no success. I was given various contact details 0184878100 /8101/8136 but all of them are useless. I have never come across such a useless municipality in my life. I was in the province in Dec for a holiday and received traffic infringement via sms and to this date I have not been able to get through to any person and therefore unable to pay the fine. My worry is that the longer it takes ,it will incur penalties and thus become a warrant. I have tried almost everything to try and sort the fine out but I cannot get through. I need to file a formal complaint against this useless department, I think it's best they abolish the entire department because it's useless ,I do not know why it even exist. I cannot drive over 1200km just to come sort the fine. I need a manager or supervisor to contact me.

We have been struggling for months to get our refund on our account from Matlosana Municipality. Emails to them bounce back as inbox full. Trying to phone them is a futile exercise too. They just don't answer their phones, or the person in charge is not picking the call. The Municipality has been clinging on to our money for more than six months now. They have no intention of paying the Trust out or to refund us. It's hard to find words to describe their abhorrent behaviour. We are disgusted beyond word with Matlosana.

they allocated speeding traffic fines for me for cars that i do not own, do not know and have never driven or been a passenger of at places i have never been, how??? When asked to fix it they're sending me from pillar to post, for a them problem that they should be able to fix on their own.

My client sold her property in Klerksdorp and it was duly transferred on 24/01/2023 - that is more than TWO YEARS AGO! Since then, she has been trying to obtain the credit due to her, with no success, despite submitting proof of transfer. Out of pure frustration, she asked me to help. I requested the refund on 02/10/2025 and reminded the City of Matlosana on a number of occasions. Despite every time receiving confirmation of receipt and an undertaking that my request will be dealt with by City, nothing has been done to date - not even an e-mail disclosing that the refund will be done. The relevant account is 80036551024. According to my client, the City keep on debiting this account with charges, despite the property having been transferred on 24/01/2023. In my humbly view, the City of Matlosana's BTO should thus not be even awarded one star!

I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue regarding my municipal account. Since January 2023, I have been exclusively using borehole water. I work for a company called TopT Tiles which is based in Klerksdorp Central so we haven't had electricity since last week Thursday,apparently because of cable theft I went to the municipality today and apparently a technician visited the site last week but was denied access, my question was how do we deny someone whose going to help us access(just doesn't make sense to me), anyway we've been waiting for the technician since 10a.m till now..... Oh and guess what their land line isn't going through just ringing with no answer, no response to emails.

City of Matlosana municipality is ripping us off. I have been struggling for a few months now with my account. The billing is totally unreasonably high. I have visited the office to seek clarity and I'm always told that it's a system error, and should resolve in no time, however, nothing seem to change. What pains me the most is that whenever i buy electricity the funds are allocated to my account, i am not disputing the fact that I'm behind with payments, but i become demotivated everytime because nothing is changing. This is really frustrating. Metre readings are not done and now we have to suffer. I am currently without any electricity as i cannot afford to pay such high amounts that the system is generating. Please assist

My account number 05438471003 at Matlosana at Matlosana Munisipality is in credit of amount of R15000 . On 9 April 2022 i send email to Mr Wise Selebano about my credit and documents.He said that he will look and that the credit of 15000 will be paid into my bank account.we sold our property at bosveld park in April 2022. Poor client service till up to 8 Oktober 2022. No money is paid upto to date
