I am extremely disappointed with the service received at Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront on Mother’s Day.
We had a booking for 2:30pm, yet we had to repeatedly call the waiter just to be attended to. Our order was only taken at 3:00pm, and by 4:13pm we still had not received any food or proper updates on the delay. Our meals eventually arrived at 4:25pm.
We were seated in the cellar area where service was extremely poor. No staff members came to check on us unless we physically got up to ask for assistance ourselves. Throughout the entire wait, there was a complete lack of communication and customer care.
Considering how busy Mother’s Day is every year, management should have ensured proper planning, staffing, and customer service measures were in place.
What made the experience even worse was when my mother-in-law politely asked whether we would be getting served, a staff member named Sariska laughed/smirked instead of handling the concern professionally. This was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive.
Dessert was only served at 5:05pm, turning what should have been a special family celebration into a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Our waiter was Saidi.
Sadly, this experience fell far below expectations, especially for such an established restaurant.
