I went into the store to buy balloons for my niece's birthday. I paid for the balloons to be blown up, with the helium air. I paid for nothing something I could have done at home the balloons came out a small as a melon when I got home I blew the balloons by myself and they were the size of a watermelon so they useless and cheap job that was that by this sales assistant really put me off disappointing.

Cardies is a store I like to patronize as they have cute little trinkets every now and then you can’t just get anyway, and their customer service is usually very pleasing. However this was not the case when I visited Cardies at Mall@Reds on Friday evening. I selected diffuser sticks that were individually priced on the shelf, fully intending to purchase them. However, after the cashier, Jojo, had already rung up my purchase, I was abruptly told by another staff member, Yonisa, that I could not buy them unless I also bought the diffuser. She further remarked that it was an “inconvenience” for her to order the sticks separately, as if fulfilling her responsibilities as a sales assistant was optional. She then instructed Jojo not to sell them to me. This experience was not only unprofessional, but also insulting. As a paying customer, it is not my responsibility to make your staff’s jobs more convenient. If items are displayed with individual prices, I expect to be able to purchase them without being subjected to arbitrary rules or dismissive attitudes. The conduct of your staff was unacceptable, and it has left me questioning Cardies’ commitment to customer service and basic retail standards. I expect a formal explanation of why I was refused a legitimate purchase, and what corrective action will be taken regarding this matter.

On Friday the 11th of April I asked my sister to go buy a rainbow number 7 helium ballon at Cardies inside Mall @ Reds Centurion for my daughter's birthday which was the following day. She got the ballon just after 3pm in the afternoon, we did a bit of shopping and went home. We got home, neatly tied up the ballon and within an hour or so it just burst on it's own. I woke up the morning of the party and went back to the store to request a replacement. I was told it's against their policy and that they cannot assist. This experience almost ruined my daughter's party as you can imagine how devastating this was for her and me. I was given a number to call which is still on voicemail. My thing is, if maybe my daughter was playing with the balloon I would fully own up to her possibly causing the burst. But in this instance nothing happened, the balloon burst a few hours after being bought before we could even make it to my daughter's party. I am truly distraught, atleast sell us good quality products if you are going to be instilling such policies, not this cheap quality that we were sold.

Ordered items off their Online Store. After receiving the 3 item found one was not what I had ordered. Tried to contact them via the Website twice, E-mail using the E-mail provided on the Website three times, via Facebook and Instagram and not a single response on any platforms after 10 days and counting. All positive reviews on the Facebook page are all spam reviews selling a service which tells me nobody even moderates or manages their social media, but a new post was posted a few days prior on their socials, so they are actively still marketing, just not too concerned over customer support.
