I am extremely frustrated with the service I have received from Avo SuperShop and Nedbank.
I have been trying to purchase an iPad since the 23rd/24th of March, but I am unable to complete the purchase due to a technical issue on the Avo platform.
Since then, I have: • Sent multiple emails • Used the in-app support (which has not been helpful at all) • Spoke to a consultant who could not assist and dropped the call • And now, I have physically gone into a Nedbank branch for assistance
At the branch, I was told that Avo is a third party and that they cannot assist me, and that I must contact Avo again.
This is unacceptable.
As a customer, I should not be sent back and forth between Nedbank and Avo SuperShop without anyone taking responsibility or providing a solution.
To make matters worse: • I am still unable to complete the purchase • I have been told conflicting information about payment terms (24 months vs 36 months) • There has been no clear communication or resolution • I have now wasted weeks trying to resolve something that should take minutes
This iPad is needed for my child’s school, and the delays have made the situation stressful and unnecessary.
At this point, I am not just disappointed — I have completely lost trust in the service.
I am requesting urgent intervention and a proper resolution so that I can complete this purchase without further delay.
