Amazon used a courier to pick up the blacklisted phone that they sold me on the 30 April and they received it on 5 May. I am still waiting for my refund and when I contact them, they just tell me that they are escalating my claim as the phone was bought over a year ago. This doesn't change the fact that they sold me a blacklisted phone.

I am utterly disgusted that Amazon has such ridiculous items on their site without reviewing them first! I recently purchased a set of dentures that I paid R600 for and when it arrived the product was poorly manufactured and looked like something I could buy from a kids party store for R10!!!!

I dealt with Amazon South Africa for the first time and unfortunately it's going to be the last. I received notification from Amazon and the delivery firm, The Courier Guy that I will receive my parcel on Saturday 23rd May. On 23rd I received another confirmation of the delivery of my parcel on that day. I rescheduled my day to receive my parcel. At 08h44 I received a message that my parcel is undeliverable to my address and I was asked to contact the delivery firm. I then tried the number given but no response, several times. I was not contacted about the delivery address. Eventually I contacted The Courier Guy at another branch only to be told my delivery is scheduled for Monday. Unbelievable one has to put up with this kind of service. I never had these problems with Takealot.

Amazon I really think you need to re-consider your verification process for a person to start selling on your platform. I can buy on Amazon with no problems but have been batting for months to register as a seller T step verification process gives me the same error from my Laptop and my App Support have sent me the same copy and paste response over 15 times with a seller's guide that just does not help. I do respect that you need to keep people safe on the platform, but a person cannot battle for months to register a seller account

In short ordered a Gas Hob on Amazon based on the information provided in the advert. It arrived and did not match the size on the Advert and would not fit into my kitchen cabinet by a full 12cm. I returned online and did hear anything. I followed up only to be told I must pay for the return to the supplier (this will cost almost as much as cost of the unit) and then I can be refunded my purchase. Under the NCA my purchace and payment was made with Amazon not some third party supplier and as a result Amazon is responsible for transaction. I called the Amazon help desk only to be told I needed to contact the supplier to Amazon to resolve. I did this only to be told they dont really know how this works and yes I need to return before they will refund. This is crazy and *******. I will be taking this further.
