Towards the end of November 2025, I got a call from Alliance Serv informing me that I have been handed over for debt collection by Vodacom. I thought any notice should be given in writing, which they didn't do. I kindly informed the agent that I have not had a Vodacom contract since 30 November 2024, and that I have been on prepaid since. I received the very last invoice from Vodacom on 30 November 2025. Since November 2025, I have had no calls, SMSs, emails or any other form of communication from Vodacom informing me that I have any amount outstanding. I then handed this matter over to my lawyer who contacted Alliance Serv and requested any form of supporting documention breaking down this claim. All we received was a statement from them, not Vodacom, literally stating: "2025/11/26 Capital R 1 600,13 R 1 600,13" What does that even mean? "Capital?" That's it. No motivation, breakdown, detail, explanation or any other form of reputable evidence was provided. But, I got threatened with interest and penalties not settling this amount. From my perspective, this amount was grabbed out of thin air. Since I do not want to be blacklisted I sent them a mail on 20 December 2025 requesting the final amount and debit order details. To this I have not received any feedback by 26 December 2025. On the 24th of December I reach out Alliance Serv on their website. Note that throughout the entire process their status was 'Online'. However, at no point during the day did they in any form acknowledged or responded to me, leaving me hanging with more questions than answers. In my opinion, their online status was incorrect, misleading and deceptive. So, one month after that initial contact, I have had one response from them, claiming a capital amounty of R1600 with zero explanation. No debit order details provided, but threatened to settle this as soon as possible. This entire claim leaves me scratching my head. I don't think I will be blamed if this sounds like a ****. A claim backed by zero evidence...

I have paid off Debt via allianceserv, but there are failing to handover my account to Vodacom and to send me a proof of payment. I was promised by allianceserv that within 21 days I will receive a proof of payment and now it’s almost two months. I have sent some email request and call them several times, but the department that do handover account and sending proof of payments has a bad customer service. What a Poor service. they don’t deliver what they have promise to their clients. Account handover and sending a proof of payment for the client, it shouldn’t take more than 21 working days per client. Because I am sure it a matter of copy and paste same details, and just change client name and amount that was paid, then handover the account to Vodacom, so that they will update the client account on their side.

This debt collectors company is harassing me with the debt that have already informed them should not have existed. I received a Parcel from Isabella Gracia during 2020 hard lockdown. I specifically told them i cannot afford these products and they must collect them. They tried to negotiate with me. I have asked Alliance to communicate with them and come and get their products because they are still unused. I am worried that this will affect my credit score.

I've been working with Alliance since late 2020. I used to get daily calls to ensure to that the account in question was paid. Emails were attended to almost instantly. Two weeks ago I contacted Bridgette to let her know that I had settled my account and was sending her proof of payment. Also, requested her to cancel the debit order instruction on my account and send me proof that it was done. To my surprise on 25/02/2021 I was debited. Shocked because her/their service to date had been amazing? It appears that only when you owe them something do they communicate. I have made numerous calls to Bridgette and the answer is always the same. She says she followed up with no response from her finance department to refund my debit order. I have given her and Alliance enough time to communicate to me and update me and to date have received nothing but empty promises. I have even spoken to her supervisor Tebogo to no avail. I will not leave this mistake and simply let bad business practice win!!!
