Slow service

I had a balance owing on my closed absa cheque account so it was with legal. I have since received payment to that account and subsequently settled that old account i had there is a balance that i now requested be transferred to my absa savings account and have been advised that it would take 3-5 working days. How is it possible for absa to take a week to refund my money to another absa account it is not an external bank its absa to absa yet it takes a week. They received the money to that closed account but to release the money is a week long process for them. This is an internal transfer of funds surely it should be that difficult for it to take 1 week. Can i please get my money.. im not waiting a week.Why was funds received to a closed account anyway?
