LEILAS LANE RENTAL DEPOSIT DISPUTE
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the unprofessional and unacceptable conduct of Vision Property regarding my deposit refund. Despite repeated requests, they have completely failed to provide basic and necessary documentation to justify the deductions made from my deposit.
I explicitly requested a full statement of the bearing account, as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs for painting the side wall — and to date, I have received absolutely nothing.
This level of disregard, lack of transparency, and poor communication is deeply concerning. It raises serious questions about how they handle clients’ funds and whether these deductions are even legitimate.
Ignoring clients and withholding critical financial information is simply unacceptable. I strongly caution others to think twice before dealing with Vision Property if this is the standard of service they provide.

I have reviewed your account and can confirm the following:
- Your account was in arrears in the amount of R2,529.96.
- Reinstatement charges of R2,490 were app****. This includes painting, replacement of light globes that were not replaced during your tenancy, as well as a contractor call-out fee.
- An inspection fee of R570 was charged. This is a standard fee and is stipulated in your lease agreement (refer to clause 1.14 on page 5 of the schedule).
- The remainder of the deposit after above mentioned deductions was paid out to you.
- The living room walls required repainting.
- Holes were made to relocate the curtain rail, which needed to be repaired and repainted.
- In bedroom two, similar alterations (holes from moving the curtain rail) were noted.
