**** Business Carpenter
Avoid Dylan Abrams (Urban Timber) Took my deposit and then proceeded with excuses as to why he could not do the work. To date I've not received my deposit back. He claims he works for Tiny Homes and is a carpenter, There is no evidence of his work. He will send you photos of his work which are not worth trusting https://urbantimber.co.za/

Took Deposit Money, Did Nothing – Dilan Abrams Urban Timber - ***** Exposed We hired Dilan Abrams from Urban Timber (https://urbantimber.co.za/ | [email protected]) for urgent maintenance at Ferndale Villas between July and September 2025. Jobs included fixing leaking taps, pipes, a toilet in Unit 28, and external work. Paid him R6,185. He delivered NOTHING useful. Toilet repair – R1,185 Unit 28 repairs – R3,000 Pipe leak & artificial grass – R2,000 After many delays, he finally attempted the toilet repair — it failed completely, wasting time and resources and causing further damage. No other work was done. Invoices and proof of payment are available. We’ve reported this to SAPS for suspected ***** and are warning others: Do NOT hire Urban Timber or Dilan Abrams.
