UNITED CONNECT- SCAM

UNITED CONNECT....Scammers Alert!!

I received a phone call yesterday, from someone claiming to be calling from United connect. This person took me through the entire FAIS disclosure, (please note that our calls are recorded, blah blah blah). They already had my details, and I was told that CellC is currently inning a promotion, and as a trial run, they are giving away 3G data, R500 shopping voucher. And I was asked to confirm with either a YES/NO.

I’m afraid that these scammers already have my details, and come month end, fraudulent debit are going to come off my account.

How does 1 stop this??
