I recieve several calls from these people and asked them nicely to stop but every time they harass me with aggressive phone calls, the agents are also pushy, and completely disrespectful of people’s time and boundaries. What is even more concerning is the way they appear to have access to people’s personal information, including names, surnames, and phone numbers, without properly explaining where the information came from or how it is being used in total violation of POPIA.

I have been receiving repeated unsolicited calls from TS Consumer Insight (021 065 5627), despite clearly requesting that my number be removed from their database. During a recent call, I asked where my number was obtained from and was told it was “auto-generated through their system,” with no further explanation provided. No lawful basis for processing my personal information was given. I also requested to speak to a manager or supervisor and was informed that none was available. The calls have continued despite my objection to direct marketing, which raises concerns regarding compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). I have now escalated the matter to the Information Regulator (South Africa). I request that TS Consumer Insight: - Immediately cease all calls - Remove my personal information from their systems - Confirm that my data has been deleted

This company continues to contact me despite telling them not to and asking them where they got my number from etc. They use different numbers and company names, insist on trying to continue the tele sales call. I tell them to stop harassing me with unsolicited calls, but they continue. I have asked politely and rudely to be take off their mailing list. Now I need to report them to the Consumer ombudsman. I see there are numerous complaints about them on HelloPeter and other complaint platforms.
