I am lodging this complaint due to what I consider to be negligent handling and a complete lack of accountability from Triton. A mirror valued at R13,000 was damaged during transit, despite being clearly marked as fragile. This indicates a failure to exercise the reasonable care expected of a courier handling delicate goods. The delivery was conducted in a manner that further raises concern — the item was dropped off at my client’s premises without allowing adequate time for inspection, and a signature was obtained under these circumstances. Triton is now relying on this signature as “proof” of delivery in good condition, which is both misleading and unacceptable given that proper inspection was not possible. It is also concerning that Triton refuses to insure mirrors. This does not absolve the company of its responsibility to handle goods with due care and diligence, nor does it remove liability where damage occurs due to negligence. As a direct result, I am now required to replace the mirror at my own cost and arrange redelivery through an alternative courier. Despite this, Triton is still charging for the original delivery service, which was clearly not fulfilled to an acceptable standard. Given that I have spend over R35,000 per month with Triton, this lack of service, accountability, and customer care is unacceptable. Resolution Requested: I formally request: A full refund of the delivery charges Fair compensation toward the cost of the damaged mirror A written explanation of Triton’s handling procedures for fragile goods Failing a satisfactory resolution, I will have no option but to escalate this matter further through the appropriate consumer protection channels.

Triton Express committed to delivering my package on the 1st of August and even recorded this in their system. However, when I followed up at 3:30 PM on the day of delivery, I was told the package was still sitting in Polokwane — it hadn’t even been dispatched. No one could explain why, and there was little to no urgency or accountability from their side to investigate the issue. This delay has cost me time and money, and I’m now left uncertain about when (or if) the package will be delivered, and in what condition. The lack of communication and reliability is unacceptable. If you value your time and goods, I strongly advise against using Triton Express. They do not deliver as promised and leave you completely in the dark.

Triton Express committed to delivering my package on the 1st of August and even recorded this in their system. Absolute horrible service, ordered off of one day only, they let me know my order was with the courier on the 27/06/2025, i use the waybill to track, shows my order going back and forth, phone them and they tell me the tracking and waybill is for their admin only, not for the actual item so we cant use that to track . 1. Triton express maybe you should train your employees on how courier companies and waybill works because they think the rest of the population are dumb and don't understand how it works. 2. Triton express you may want to update your little communication sheet you hand out to your employees on what to tell customers and its seems from all the reviews its getting a bit old and obviously very useless. 3. Triton express maybe you need to rethink what you would like to do as it seems collecting and delivering is not one of your strengths and maybe the courier industry is not for you. i have also raised my concerns with one day only advising of the lack of assistance i received because the only response i was getting on the phone is "i don't know", i also sent one day only the hello peter link with the bad reviews asking them to rethink courier companies in the future. so again thank you for absolutely nothing.

Don't even bother. The most ***********, unreliable courier service that does not take customer service seriously. If you order from Cielo, I would suggest you ask them to use another courier service

This is worst courier company they were supposed to delivery my order from Cielo but there is no transparency, there is a lady called Erin that was supposed to assist but never returned my call!! They have my order at their warehouse but keeps on lying that they will deliver. Triton Edenvale !!!

This is such a bad delivery company , you’ll need to do better to stay in business. Very disappointing been waiting for order for weeks they delivered one parcel and forgot the other one at the warehouse such negligence.

USE TRITON EXPRESS AT YOUR OWN RISK Triton Express is ***********. They do not value their clients and they make false promises to clients. I have been waiting for my goods for over a week now and these are goods that are in their warehouse in Johannesburg. When l call they Johannesburg number, the phone rings none stop unattended, which shows their 'dont care attitude'.
