AVOID CALEDON HOTEL AND SPA BREAKFAST
OUR ANNUAL HOLIDAY DESTINATION FOR ALMOST 10YEARS. MY SONS NOW PREFERS CLUB MYKONOS. WAS AT CALEDON THE WEEKEND. BREAKFAST DOWN SCALED FROM 8 HOT DISHES TO 4. THEY NOW SERVE ONLY HUGE CHUNKS OF FRIED TOMATOES BAKEBEANS HALF RAW FRIED SAUSAGE WITH EGGS. PASTRIES ON DISPLAY ON THE MOST UGLIEST BLOCKS OF WOOD. BUT THE PRICE HAS INCREASED. WENT TO BREAKFAST AT 9.00 A.M. BAYMARINE EMTY THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO REFILL IT. I WENT TO 3 DIFFERENTS HOTEL INCLUDING COURTYARD IN PE. CALEDON THE WORKST BREAKFAST

Bad experience every time at Caledon Casino
I'm very upset and unhappy about the experience at the Caledon Casino. We all go there to have a good time and enjoy it but for the past 6 months its been terrible. The machines are pathetic, you never won anything worth it and when there is a draw, my name has never been drawn, its always the same people every time that get drawn. I wish people will not go there just for a month or 2 and see what will happen then. Shutting down will be the best then nobody will want to go there and just get home disappointed.

Bad experience every time at Caledon Casino

The Caledon Hotel, Casino and Spa
We had a wonderful stay at the Caledon hotel, breakfast was fantastic, staff was friendly, room was neat. Just needs a little upgrade because we had a problem with the door on the inside and instead of giving us a room with only a shower, which I requested, they gave us one with a shower in a bathtub . That was not so nice for a 60year old to handle but we made the best of it. The casino was not that busy and enough machines to play on. The highlight of our stay was the Spa visit. It was a whole new experience. Definitely a place that I would recommend and visit again.

The Caledon Hotel, Casino and Spa
We had a wonderful stay at the Caledon hotel, breakfast was fantastic, staff was friendly, room was neat. Just needs a little upgrade because we had a problem with the door on the inside and instead of giving us a room with only a shower, which I requested, they gave us one with a shower in a bathtub . Poor and unfriendly service overall except for the Spa
We arrived at the hotel the security refused to let us in and drop our luggage while all the other people were allowed to drop their luggage before going to the parking , reception weren`t friendly at all,we didnt get the room we booked, upon arrival at the room the curtains were dirty and tv remote didnt work, we had to call reception 4 times to check the remote after the 4th time they actually responded.The next morning we called for A iron and again we had to call twice. I also dont know whats the use of the telephone in the rooms if there is no short codes to call? The basin in the bathroom with a prop that doesnt fit the bath or the basin so couldnt take a bath,had to shower . The Spa staff were friendly and had the best experience of our trip at the spa though.

'ICE COLD' HOT WATER SPRINGS
Drove all the way from Somerset West for the hot water springs experience, just to get there and find out the water pumps are not working. Most upsetting part is that I called before I left my home to ensure the pools are in working order. Disappointed to say the least!

Caledon spa soiled dirty sheets
The worst experience you will ever have at a Tsogo sun establishment. On arrival we were greeted with dirty soiled sheets. I have sent the manager a message and after many weeks she has still not gotten back to me.

The worst experience you will ever have at a Tsogo sun establishment. On arrival we were greeted with dirty soiled sheets. I have sent the manager a message and after many weeks she has still not gotten back to me.

The worst hotel experience
This place is such a dump. They claim to be a 4 star rated hotel. The rooms are smelly because of carpets that are not being cleaned. The furniture is falling apart. The free breakfast is an absolute joke for a 4 star establishment. The fresh fruit juice served is some kind of mixed cordial. The coffee is not even filtered. At almost R2000 p/night this is an absolute rip off. I wanted to warm a meal for my daughter and there is not one microwave on the premises. There is no going the extra mile. I requested a room upgrade, which I was prepared to pay for and out of the 4 days we spent there, I enquired constantly about a upgrade because mine and my daughters allergies were going crazy and just needed a door to open which would’ve helped. There were rooms available but we did not hear anything from front desk. The only thing good about this place was the natural hot mineral pools, which is a miracle of nature and the caledon hotel cannot take any credit for. We wasted our money on a getaway that made us so homesick. I will never go back and will encourage everyone I know on every social media platform to stay away. Tsogo sun should be ashamed to have this hotel as part of their group! This place disgusts me
