Bought a quarter chicken. AS tough as nails. Probably cooked 6 times over. Obviously, no management or chef inside. Most probably a ****a shop special?? Cannot believe how poor the products and service are. Even the restaurant was empty with the waiters looking totally dis-interested. Certainly not a patch on Broadacres SPAR. Will never got there again if I dont need to

On Saturday, the 29 November 2025 at 14:25pm, I bought Fettuccine Alfredo and Mash Potato from SuperSpar Hobart. During the night of the 29 November I had terrible stomach cramps that resulted in diarrhea and vomiting on Sunday, and me having to miss work on Monday, 1 December 2025. I bought over the counter medication from Dischem on Sunday, to treat the diarrhea and vomiting. The cream used in the Fettuccine Alfredo and Mash Potato from SuperSpar Hobart was spoiled and rotten and this is what caused the vomiting and the diarrhea and made me incredibly sick where I was forced to buy medication and miss a day in the office. I reported this incident to Mimi and Yannick - giving them the spoiled food, the slips from Hobart Spar, filling in an incident report, the pictures of all medication that I was forced to but out of pocket. 14 days later, and the only response that I get "I will follow up and advise". ZERO customer care SuperSpar Hobart. Customers becareful of bad bacteria from exposed food and bad hygiene. Salmonella – undercooked poultry, eggs E. coli – contaminated meat, unpasteurised milk, dirty water Campylobacter – poultry, raw milk Shigella – poor hand hygiene Staphylococcus aureus – toxins in food left out too long (cream, salads) Clostridium perfringens – reheated meats, stews Bacillus cereus – reheated rice or pasta
