Not a positive experience
I could have written any of the negative reviews on this thread as my experience was the same. Dealing with the owner, Reinhard, was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had.

Abusive insulting owner
Owner verbally abuse client when simple request are not answered, next level insulting voice messages - unprofessional on another level, not worth saving a few cents yo go through his abuse

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
I would not have given this company a minus 10 rating!! The owner Reinhard Isaacs comes across as such "genuine" person. FARRRR from the truth. Rude, dishonest and has absolutely no work ethic. Promises all but when the issues arise he refuses to admit he is wrong and turned it all around telling us we don't want to pay the balance. The voice notes are on another level! He will not take responsibility for his BAD WORK, excuses and denial and we now have a vinyl floor that is lifting and his excuse is we don't want to pay the balance. I will def not even pay you now to fix the floor. Rude voice notes, cannot reason with a **** and a *****ed person. You reap what you sow, I hope that he keeps that in mind when he goes to church on Sundays! that's if he goes to church!!! DO NOT use this man for anything!! I have had to block him on calls and WhatsApp to avoid his voice notes and utter disgusting approach to "customer service" AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Don't know how long he has been in business but what a disaster, wish I had seen the hello peter reviews before I even bothered!!!!

First class service and quality products
Strand Flooring were professional and communicative from the day I requested a quote from them. They delivered exactly what they promised and Christal managed the whole project from beginning to end and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Strand Flooring and Blinds.

First class service and quality products

Poor customer service. Strand Flooring and Blinds
I have read comments re this company. Our floor was laid June 2021. We have since noticed one floor board is bubbling, 1 floor board has a broken clip. There are others not looking great. The guys came out and made a report stating that this was water damage but that they would fix it. It has gone down hill from there. The owner sends rambling rude msgs , some I have kept, others I deleted. I am now going to approach SAWLFA and pay for a inspection of the work done. The workers are extremely polite but the owner is another story . I shall be playing the msgs that I have received to the SAWLFA representative when they come and make a report. The owner of Strand Flooring and Blinds suggested I contact them which I have done.

Highly recommended
I was so impressed with the wonderful service received from Strand Flooring. Reinhard who did the quote was so friendly, helpful and informative. The quote arrived quickly and the contractors arrived on time and completed the floors on the same day. The floors were beautifully installed and the rooms were left clean and tidy. I can highly recommend this company

Unethical, unprofessional and insultingly bad service
Please do not use this company if you value integrity, professionalism and workmanship. Exceptionally poor installation of carpets with holes and gaps. But more specifically, when asked to return to repair, we received the most unprofessional, patronising and insulting responses that avoided any responsibility on their part. We were insulted as clients and received 10 minute voice notes that laid the blame everywhere but with their workmanship, even going as far as saying we should just be grateful because they are cheap. When we responded with legal options, they eventually sent an installer out (a month later) who confirmed that the carpet would have to be replaced (their OWN installer confirmed this). Yet, management's response was one that attacked us for speaking to their installers and their offer to replace required us to make additional payment for the replacement carpet and installation (we would have to pay to fix their mistake). Every reasonable attempt to engage with them has been met with insult and delay and deceit. As a final example of their dismissive attitude to client service and responsibility, their response to our detailed efforts to communicate the situation was, "this is too much to read". Do not use this company.

Bad Business Etchics
I did not even wanted to give them 1 star. That is how terrible their service, business ethics and products are. We orders wooden blinds from them for all our bedrooms. There was a price difference between wood and pvc (wood more expensive). We ordered the wood as that fitted better into the look we wanted for the bedrooms. Firstly they said it would be fitted in time. Then a day before it needed to be fitted they let us know that there is a delay at the factory because of the riots that happened 3 weeks ago. So I asked them why they didn't let me know earlier as they knew 3 weeks ago about the delay. That should have been a red flag already for me. Then 2 days after they said all is delayed my blinds suddenly popped up and they are installing. Once it was installed I had to leave so did not check all. On Saturday morning I looked at the blinds and saw it was the wrong once. Asked them to come out, but they didn't it even took them a while to reply and then they started to get rude and so unprofessional. They did not give me and explanation as to why I received the wrong blinds, why they installed the wrong blinds. They just said I am making a nuisance of myself. They then said they would refund me R1000. Not giving me a breakdown of how they got to the R1000. And thats not even close the what the difference should be between the 3 wood and 3 pvc blinds. They knew they installed a sub-par product and wrong product. They thought we would not notice. Now they keep telling me I am making a nuisance of myself and that they are praying for me. I am taking this further as they are criminals and don't want anyone else to fall for their tricks and promises. Wish I looked them up before I decided to book the blinds with them.
