SoSolar disastrous
In summary our experience is nothing short of absolutely disastrous!! Quote was given without a site visit, which when queried we were assured that was not an issue, boy did it become an issue. Not a single part of the installation was done as per discussions, quote nor specs! Having to deal with unreliability, denials & dishonesty in the extreme! The entire system installed is not up to spec & is dangerously installed. Owner tried to ****** additional monies from us,& refuses to give a compliance certificate which is a must on his own equipment and installation. Have had 5 different electricians/contractors/solar installers, in to have a look at bringing the installation up to spec, making it compliant and safe, all say the same thing. This is an example of one reply: " I have spoken to 3 other contractors and none of them are willing to work on that system. All recommend a new installation. With reliable brands

As I had mentioned before GoSolr’s onboarding is best in class but they tend to struggle at post sales. I was happy that despite the drama I had with 2 of their consultants who were meant to assist me with an issue, I got the assistance of Sam and Clint to take over the issue and problem solve appropriately to the benefit of both me and GoSolr. Sam and Clint were brilliant at showing care and understanding. My ask is that GoSolr trains all of their staff to this level because what happens then should Sam or Clint leave? Thank you Sam and Clint for resolving the issue with the inverter at my house

shocking service
shocking service . receptionist claims they have no specials they advertised . she said her manager would call me back , never happened . i called again , same thing . i called again . i was told to WA them for a reply . never got a reply

Sosolar blames invertor and me for faulty battery
Terrible service, after sending this mail twice, I got a call from some guy at Sosolar, and he proceeded to blame me, for running the battery below 50% ( not actually sure I even did that ) and blame the settings on the invertor ( the invertor has no settings. ) Date: 11 May 2022 at 14:49:57 SAST To: [email protected] Subject: Problem with battery Hi guys I bought this battery from takelot in august last year . But I didn’t actually use it until November, when we moved into new house We have had about 9 load shedding usages on the battery . Initially the invertor said I’m using 25% load on the battery , and it lasted the 2,5 hours without using any power at all. (Only 25% according to the invertor ) I have a smart tv and a WiFi on the invertor) Now, it lasts about 30 mins and dies . I took battery to a battery center to test and they say it’s 85% perfect . So I’m not sure why this is happening . Take lot refuse to return it Please help I’m based in Hermaus WC

Worst company to deal with. ABSOLUTELY NO service backup. The manager Johnathan refuses to speak to you and no one can ever get hold of him. Stay away from SoSolar as far as possible. Ther products are of very low quality and problematic
