Funeral Claim Rejection date:05/05/2024(10 Days before the deceased died) Policy number:(Sanlam Sky) IP***2 & DS***/ (Old Mutual) *** Cover start date:01/02/2024 Cause of death:Unnatural. Relationship to the deceased(Naphew) Case number:66-05-2024

I submitted the funeral claim for my late Naphew OYAMA VAALTEIN who is the Son of my Life partner BABALWA VAALTEIN'S sister ZANDILE VAALTEIN.

REASON FOR REJECTION: No Policy Interest-This is Invalid & Unconstitutional.

This reason was opposed and contested by myself as well as my in laws with SAP signed and stamped affidavits & the proof of maintainance from department of Justice and the proof financial contributions towards the deceased funeral arrangements but Ombudsman continued to denied them and supported the rejection letter by Sanlam Sky even though it was incorrect and premadetated:

It is clear that these funeral insurance companies like SANLAM SKY, OLD MUTUAL & CAPITEC and Funeral Insurance Ombudsmen are behind the scem of squeezing money from the poor of the poorest and get supported by the insurance ombudsman.

I so wish, relevant state organs and competition commission to envistigate them so that they can face the law for their ******** conduct.

I so wish , all the Insurance holders to cancel their contracts and take funeral covers from somewhere else, were they will be treated with dignity they deserve in terms of section 10 of the SA Constitution Act 108 of 1996.

Even Ombudsman took more than a year to make determination on the matter whilst they know they will be supporting the same wrong and ******** determination by Sanlam Sky.
