Reignite keeps phoning me on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. I have asked them to remove me from their list, yet they keep on calling. No hyperbole, it is bordering on harassment, as some days I receive in excess of 4 calls.

Phone call from anonymous number. Tells you they are phoning from CPT and you have won a prize from people selected in your area. They have your personal details addressing you by name. Refuse to tell you were they got it, claiming you filled in a survey during the pandemic (hogwash, I hate these things) "else where would they get your details?" Exactly why I wanted to know. When I pushed it, the phone was put down. So much for POPIA protecting criminals, but not your privacy.

Super suspicious. They couldn't tell me where they got my number from, instead saying someone nominated my business (which they didn't mention). Then they wanted the contact details (name) of the person I was going to take with and kept insisting I bring them with. I looked them up after the call and couldn't find them. When they called to check I was still coming, I said nah. I asked why they don't have an internet presence, as an internet based travel company and she seemed "shocked" I couldn't find them. That was last year... I was convinced that if they aren't asking you to pay, then you are what's being sold/stolen and I wasn't putting my life on the line. They just called me again today and I just said I'm not interested.

This company is phoning me without my requesting the business and "free holidays" that they are offering. They are in clear violation of the POPIA act and are using my personal information without my permission. The law is clear about this, We DO NOT WANT OR PERMIT companies to solicit our business, using our cellphone numbers or other personal information, without our consent.

Scam!!! I've actually attended the presentation and can confirm that this is a scam. Go options, mytravelution, the nexus group, ignite travel SA- they're all in on it. The call center agents from cape Town will use different accents and change their names to fool you. Don't waste your time and petrol attending the presentation. THE WORST COMPANY I'VE COME ACROSS YET

Please be aware of this voucher and harassment scam. They claim to call and have a R15000 travel voucher to be used anywhere in SA for accommodation, or get into a draw for an international 5 star hotel. They'll give it to you for free in the hopes that you'll market their new business on social media. Their excuse for not having a website or any presence online is that they're a new company just launching and will only launch the site when you collect the voucher (for promotional reasons). It seems the idea is that they at least expect you to get cold feet after thinking about it after the call and you don't pitch to collect the voucher. When you don't they'll star harassing you that you now owe them R15000 for the value of the voucher! That or they'll direct to you a dodgy office behind Tygervalley mall and you get cold feet there. Don't fall for such obvious scam please. People have been catching on so they've repeatedly changed their name...slightly. For example: https://www.hellopeter.com/sa-reignite/reviews/unethical-and-now-illegal-business-practice-3655607 https://www.hellopeter.com/sa-re-ignite-travel https://www.hellopeter.com/re-ignite-sa If I could recommend that others lure them on more than I did and find out more information about them. If they call again I'll be sure to go to their "office" and record them ion action.

I just got a call from these people, just like everyone else is mentioning about the R15000 free voucher for a survey I never completed. Apparently someone nominated me but they wouldn't tell me who. They kept insisting that I tell them wether I was single, married or in a relationship which was very odd for me. When I said I was single they insisted I tell them who I was coming with to pick up the voucher.. I mean why not send it via email? why not tell me who nominated me or my business? why insist on knowing my marital status? something just feels off.. They said I should come pick it up tomorrow at their centurion office but I'm not going there.

These people are scammers. They cant tell you where they got your personal detail from. They clearly do not adhere to the POPI act. They offer you some prise for free. You have to meet at a random location. They do not have a website, no business address, and if you refuse they lash out and humiliate you. Please stay away from these people!
