<~RUC~> With a cracking start to 2026 my transition from 1st year to 2nd had been smooth, from the registration process to the advice given by lecturers regards to picking electives however one thing stood out in particular….. Mr Fardheen, a really great new lecturer. Ive been on the ball when it comes to attending lectures this week and honestly was not expecting much since he is new to lecturing as stated by him.He takes us for three modules it made getting comfortable with the class and breaking the ice much easier. His teaching style is clear and he moves at a good pace, not too fast but also not dragging things out. He also checks in with the class often to make sure everyone understands the work before moving on, which I deeply appreciate. The classes feel more engaging and less like we’re just being talked at. What stood out to me the most is how approachable he is. It doesn’t feel intimidating to ask questions, and he explains things in a way that actually makes sense. The classes feel more interactive and well alive and it’s easier to stay focused because of how he presents the content. Overall I’m honestly pleasantly surprised. It’s been a really good start to the semester, and I’m looking forward to learning more from him throughout the term.

My student advisor was not helpful at all Never confirmed any changes I had to make Or never responded to queries I've had since I paid registration , In fact he seems to not care at all which caused me to seek out another student advisor who could help me with what Brandon couldn't I even once asked to change student advisors cause I wasn't happy with him.

Richfield Graduate Institute’s refusal to refund my registration fees after cancellation of my enrolment.
On 9 January 2026, I submitted a formal request for de‑registration and cancellation (Student Number 402601550). On 12 January 2026, your office confirmed that my request fell within the 21‑business‑day cooling‑off period and instructed me to complete the cancellation form and provide a formal letter. I comp**** with these requirements and received written acknowledgement on 14 January 2026 that my request had been received and forwarded for approval and processing. Despite this, Richfield has refused to refund my registration fees. This refusal is ******** under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), which entitles consumers to cancel within the cooling‑off period and receive a refund, subject only to reasonable cancellation charges. I have written proof of their assurances via email and WhatsApp communications with Richfield graduate institute academic advisor , yet they continue to refuse refund me and mislead. This has caused financial loss and unnecessary frustration. Despite these written promises, they are now refusing to refund me. This is rotten, dishonest behavior — misleading students with false assurances and then breaking their word. I comp**** with every requirement, submitted all documents, and have proof of their promises. Their refusal to honor a legitimate refund is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of integrity. People should learn that Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology misleads students with bad faith refund practises, refuses to honor legitimate refund commitments, and behaves dishonestly. Richfield’s refund process is unreliable, dishonest, and unsafe for students.
