Paid almost R 2000 for ****roach extermination and we have more than ever. We were supposed to have a follow up that never happened. Tried contacting Ntombi from Rentokil, sent two emails no reply. Terrible service and really not worth the money at all! I would just like to have my problem sorted out.

Further to my earlier communication, Rentokil have come back to me to the effect that they do not believe that they are responsible for the R12 000 damage that their negligence caused to my bedside lamp. Their rationale? It was my responsibility to move all furniture in the room to be treated. Ergo, the operative balancing the mattress on its side has no responsibility for the fact that it toppled and destroyed my bedside lamp. Was this responsibility of mine explained prior to the visit? NO, IT WAS NOT. Should the (experienced?) operator be expected to understand the potential implications of his brain-dead approach? YES, HE SHOULD. Further to my earlier review(the details are identica): Rentikil's ball-less avoidance of responsibility took FOUR MONTHS before they tasked a low-level worker ant to break the news to me. NOBODY should allow Rentokil anywhere near their home if they have any concern for the integrity of the contents. DISGUSTING.

Rentokil, in the process of spraying my bedroom for bedbugs, negligently destroyed a very expensive, specialised bedside lamp. I claimed recompense for the cost: R12 000-odd. That was November 2025. Today is March 4 2026: to date nothing from them other than insincere apologies and promises to get back to me "by Monday morning", for example - absolutely nothing.

Diagnosed wrong treatment because they no longer treat what was the actual problem in my house. I have never been so disappointed with Rentokil, after paying lots of money, the problem became worse. I will still elaborate on this matter, just waiting for their response after I complained.

Terrible Service! No reply to emails, no call backs when leaving messages for account managers, branch managers and team leaders. Have requested change of account manager on numerous occasions only to be faced with the same useless service from the next. JHB branch site is so outdated that its got Diane listed as branch manager only to be told when requesting a call from her that she resigned more than 2 years ago. Tried to cancel our (lack of) services but told there will be a 90 day cancellation period and a 30% fee for exiting early. So they give you ******* service but then keep you tied in regardless. GREED at its best, Cant wait for our contract to end so we can move on.

We have used Rentokil for years and seen many sales people come and go. Evert time someone came out and wanted to quote us, we received nothing. Last year someone new came out and we laughed but I decided to sign a new contract to save some money. That was in August - in November after requesting the quote again, I received it and sent it off same day. To this day I have not received the pricing I have signed for and despite escalating the matter, no one wants to get back to us.

When one works through a reputable Company, one expects the level of service agreed upon. 1. One does not expect no communication from the Representative. 2. One does not expect appointments not being kept. 3. One does not expect the subcontractor to offer direct dealings with the client. The quality one expects and pay for from Rentokil is HIGHLY OVERRATED AND UNDER DELIVERED.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. The AR team has confirmed that the refund will reflect in your bank account by next Friday, 23 January.
