This is now the third time I am posting about this issue here.
I was involved in a Citybug accident on 5 July 2025, where my luggage was damaged and I was also badly injured.
I submitted a luggage claim through QMB & Associates and provided all required documents. On 19 March 2026, Nazeera confirmed receipt of my documents (submitted on 16 March) and clearly stated that R6,798 would be paid within 21 working days.
To date, no payment has been made.
When I follow up, I am told they are “waiting for feedback” with no clear timeline. It is now almost a year since the accident, and I am still chasing a small claim that was already approved.
This is unacceptable:
A confirmed payment timeline has not been honoured There is no accountability or clear communication The matter involves not just damaged luggage, but also personal injury
I am requesting:
Immediate payment of R6,798 A confirmed payment date A proper explanation for the delay
If this is not resolved urgently, I will escalate the matter further.
