It is easy to ship with Pargo and you don't have to worry that the lockers are full. The people at my Pargo are very friendly and helpful.
I sold an item on Yaga, bought a locker and took the parcel to the lockers in Gansbaai - NO LOCKERS WERE AVAILABLE. I phoned the Courier guy Bredasdorp and they were VERY UNHELPFUL and I was given a number 010 222 2300 but as usual there is only a computer to talk to. I am voting with my wallet from today - NO MORE USING PUDO LOCKERS.
I received a message from Yaga that they deleted my Coco Chanel "sunglasses" case as it is under suspicion of being counterfeit. In case it is not counterfeit - I was told in the message - I must update the pictures! What infuriates me is my pictures are clear with all 3 logos and markings. I always upload good, clear pictures. The fact that I was selling it for a good price does not mean it is a ****. I got many good deals on Yaga and wanted to give someone else a good deal as I have 2 Chanel cases.
Bought a packet of Ross Sweet potato crisps from a padstal on 20 Aug 2025. When I opened the packet I immediately smelled rancid oil. The crisps were inedible and tasted rancid. I contacted Laastedrif the same day and Cillie informed me 3 days later they tested the batch and the oil was not rancid. The crisps were still wet when they were packed and sealed! How is that for food safety, maybe I should have checked for mould? They accepted no responsibility for the crisps that were not edible. Needless to say – stay away from this brand.
Bought stuff from Faithful to Nature - who use DPD Laser Courier. Got an SMS 23 June (08:32) with message they are delivering on the 23 June. I immediately said they must phone me. I tried to phone them but that was just a waste of my time. I asked them - via their link - to reschedule the delivery. They phoned me after 12h00 and I said to them I have asked to reschedule the delivery as I am not able to receive the parcel. It is now a day later and NO PARCEL. Maybe I should ask them - when they deliver - to take the parcel back to Faithful to Nature and ask them for my money back???
I always use Payfast payment solutions when I buy Online from Various suppliers. It is easy, fast and secure together with a banking app. Once a payment was made I get an email to confirm the payment as well as the amount.
I ordered shampoo and Tahini and Halva spread from the Anadea Health online shop on the 4 June 2025. Half an hour later they send me a message that 1 item has an best before date of Aug 25 and the other item a best before of Oct 25 , do I still want the items? I confirmed that I do wanted the items. That was definitely a 1st for me. Normally companies toss the orders in boxes and send it expired or not. My order was delivered the next day! This customer service deserves 5 stars.
Bought 2 x Faith to nature shampoo(was in stock on website) and 1 x better you spray vitamins 8 April 25. Order was confirmed they had stock. I felt uneasy as they kept on send emails they are getting my order ready(3 items). Read the reviews on Hellopeter and knew something was off. Got an email my order is confirmed. Received my order 14 April without the shampoo. I will go to the Police station and lay a charge of theft, submit info to Consumer talk and do my utmost best to stop them from *****ing from people. They are not ONLY *****ING MONEY BUT THEY ARE ALSO *****ING MY TIME.
I really love shopping on "Yaga", client service has always been great BUT my only issue is the fact that Yaga has become a dumping ground for Shein. Do an online search for Yaga and the following definition describes the website: "Yaga is a South African online marketplace and app for buying and selling pre-loved fashion. SHEIN IS FAST FASHION AND DEFINITELY NOT PRE-LOVED FASHION.
We received the 1st rejection letter from Hollard and as a result of this, additional proof and correspondence regarding the various Public liability claims, were emailed to '[email protected]' (3 emails were send) . Please note the following: the 1st claim rejection – from Hollard - have no substance regarding the claim. It was addressed to an individual who was not the claimant. That is just unprofessional and legally unacceptable. The 2nd response, based on the information submitted to '[email protected]' has been totally ignored as it makes no reference to the 2 claims that was submitted and proofed in the emails, neither did it address the inadequacy errors, a lack of substance in the 1st claim response from Hollard. As a result of the way that public liability claims, in the Western Cape, is being handled a formal complaint has been lodged with the Public protector, Premier of the Western Cape Alan Windie and a series of articles are being published by Network 24, regarding these specific matters and public liability claims.
