Placed my order and the store cancelled. I was informed I will get a refund in 3 to 10 business days. Its been 10 days and I have not received my refund. Now I am told I am not eligible for a refund. Im extremely disgusted and will never recommend Ubereats. 1st order, worst experience. Sis
An order was placed with Mweb for a second fiber line at the end of May 2025, my account was debited a pro rata amount for this order. Confirmation that service provider Zoom was outsourced and allocated to do the installation was given on 29/05. I requested order confirmation but did not receive any. On the 3rd of June, I requested a follow up as I still didn’t get any feedback and no contact from Zoom. 10 June, Mweb router was delivered, Zoom came out, but said they could not do the installation as there is already a fibre line at the premises, so they cannot do a second line. Mweb advised differently on the situation and said it can be done. After back and forth calls on the same day (10 June 2025) – a cancellation of the order and router collection was confirmed by Mweb provisioning as the installation could not be done. On 31 July, I got a message about an unsuccessful payment. I contacted Mweb via WhatsApp again and Shaunelle advised that I needed to return the router. It didn’t make sense to me since I was previously informed that they will cancel and arrange for the collection of the router. I was also told that they were waiting for me, which I cannot understand as the cancellation was already requested on June 10th. I requested confirmation of the cancellation again. I then requested a call back so that there can be a meeting of the minds since nobody knew what is happening and everyone on the whatsapp chat seems to be following a different process. To date, no call or cancellation confirmation. On 6 August, I received another message regarding a disconnection of service due to failed payment, but really, what service as nothing was installed, the router was returned at my own cost. Why are you still trying to debit my account?? Its September and Mweb yet again, tried to debit my account and then tells me about a disconnection, please tell me what is to be disconnected and where? As there was never an installation, so what must I pay for?
On 30/01 I was informed that my policy is cancelled (vehicle traded in) and that I will get back refund within 5-7 working days. I have sent several emails and made a numerous amount of calls since then and I still have not received satisfactory feedback. Yesterday afternoon , I received a call from 1 of the managers (Zelda) who confirmed that the funds were released the night before. I am still waiting for payment confirmation. Then I get told it will take 5-7 working days for the funds to reflect in my account. Pure nonsense. The service from this company is pathetic. They don't know how to service clients or provide feedback on time. I am always following up and to wait 2 weeks for a refund is unacceptable.
These companies take poor service to another level. I contacted Bulls removals regarding my move from PTA for DBN. Paul was good and friendly, quick to answer any enquiries and was quick with the quote as well. I chose to use their company as the quote was fair it also included what they call “insurance special wrapping” which I selected for 2 of my items as I wanted to take extra precaution for the furniture. I made the payment on the same day the guys arrived. All my wrapping was done by myself, I purchased my own bubble wrap, boxes, and plastic / cling wrap. Pick up was arranged for 29 November at 9am and I was told there would be 4 guys who would come to load. On the day, the truck didn’t pitch at 9am, I made a few calls and was told about a reschedule for 11 am. By noon on the same day, a different truck arrived, with 2 guys. They were in a hurry and were mishandling my boxes, even damaged the wall in the flat, I had to reiterate to them that the items in the boxes are fragile. There was no “insurance special wrapping” instead these 2 guys made use of my plastic to wrap my couches and tv stand. Paul promised that my stuff will arrive in DBN the next day – 30 November. It did not. I started making calls and sending what’s app messages, most of them were ignored. My furniture went from Centurion to Piet Retief in Mpumalanga, they did not communicate the route, instead Paul **** and said the delay is because the truck is going via Richard's Bay. Eventually Paul from Bulls Removals referred me to Rodney from Excuss Logistics – the bad service continued, it took a week for my furniture to arrive, while we had to sleep on the floor and borrow clothes to wear. There were minor damages to my bed and tv stand. My child’s bed was not in the load. I called Rodney to complain once again, and was told it will arrive on Tuesday 10/11 then it moved to Thursday 12/11. Again, the lies and empty promises continued and to date my child’s bed has not arrived. I am convinced they have ****** the bed, and I will be seeking legal action against this pathetic company, they don’t care about people or know how to service customers, these companies are greedy and keep accepting new jobs, not worrying about other customers that they have already made promises too. I also complained about being reimbursed for the inconvenience and lack of communication to which Rodney says that will be discussed later. I don’t advise anybody to make use of these companies. They are happy to take your money and make empty promises. THEY DON’T DELIVER on promises or your furniture.

I purchased the i20 from Hyundai Pinetown in Dec 2021, less than 6 months later, the car started giving problems, I took the car to Hyundai Centurion and they said the problem is the oxygen sensors, within a day the car was repaired. Shortly after I had to take a trip to Durban from Centurion, only to find that the car is still giving me problems. I am really disappointed in the service I have received from Hyundai, Pinetown staff are rude, there was no courtesy vehicle, a week later I was still stranded and inconvenienced without a car, I had to keep calling to find out whats wrong with the car, on day 5 I was told by Pinetown, that Centurion put the wrong part in the car and they are to blame. The worst part is that I had to spend R2800 on petrol going down when I could have spent less than R1200 on the trip, no apology, no talk of compensation for their fault. I will not refer anyone to this dealership as they are only interested in sales and leave a customer hanging post sale. Terrible service!
