Don't bother taking on the additional costs of the life/funeral policies and subscription waivers offered by Dstv. I have been phoning and emailing them to claim since my dad passed away on 14 June 2025. Each time they advise that there are documents outstanding (all submitted multiple times) or that someone will call me within x days to provide feedback on the claim. Yet no phone call is ever received. It has now been 2 months and 2 weeks later. I look forward to hearing what else is outstanding or missing in order to process the claim. Perhaps blood tests and urine samples? But don't fear, your premiums will be collected on time. This is a ****. Beware.
Our home office chairs (2) were collected as scheduled after the deposit payment was made. Communication started to dwindle. Promises of delivery were made and broken several times. Communication broke down completely with calls left unanswered, emails not responded to, website shut down. We started checking HP and Google Reviews and started stressing, thinking we were ****med out of our deposit and 2 office chairs. This went on for a week after initial delivery was scheduled and missed. At this point several delivery dates and times had been discussed and missed each time. Eventually we got our chairs back a week later than originally scheduled. But the chairs look brand new. The pu leather looks sturdy and of good, durable quality. The sponges used to stuff the chairs are also nice and thick. The chairs are much better now than when they were purchased! I'm very happy with the work done. I think there is just a problem of overpromising and underdelivering (in terms of timelines), which can cause a lot of issues. I recommend the work of this company, but they have to work on their timelines - rather give yourself an additional week or two, to ensure that you can meet the deadlines - than end up not being able to meet them. Your customers will be much happier this way.
After purchasing a device in June from iStore I received notification that I get a free 6 month subscription to ReacPlus. This is in theory a valuable service to subscribe to, so I thought I would try it. However a fraudulent transaction of R99 was processed against my account on 2021/08/24. Shortly thereafter I received an SMS as follows: Dear ReactPlus user - We apologise for the inconvenience caused due to the recent incorrect billing. Please note that these incorrect billings will be reversed as soon as possible. No further action from your side is required. We thank you for your support and patience. Kind Regards The ReactPlus Team However , I have still not received the refund. Poor service. Fraudulent transactions against your account. Do not sign up for it!
Ordered the chicken breasts with garden salad. I dont think I've ever had such a fresh salad fom a restaurant before. The lettuce was so crisp. Friendly service too. And as always the chicken was perfect. This was at the Greenstone branch.
This place is sure to be a goldmine. Great tasting fresh handmade pies at a very affordable price. I bought two of their combo options which include a pie and a drink, at the East Rand Mall store. You can see the staff busy making the pies by hand through the window. Great setup. Will definitely recommend for a quick lunch on the go, and will support them again.
Good service, healthy, filling and tasty food, fast delivery. Definitely recommend them! Convenient food does not have to be junk food.
Worst service. Stopped at McDonald's Ermelo drive through for breakfast. I ordered 1 Sausage and egg Mc****in meal, 1 Sausage Mc****in meal, and an extra sausage Mc****in and hash brown. The lady at the window confirmed the order with me, but after paying when I got the slip she got the order completely wrong. On the slip there were 3 Sausage and egg Mc****ins and an extra cappuccino and only 2 hash browns. Upon collection we then did not get the cappuccino that we were charged for, and only 1 hashbrown. What's even worse is one of the Mc****ins had so much hot sauce on it I couldn't eat it! Where did that come from? Terrible terrible service!
I was admitted for surgery on 5th of March 2018. Most of the staff that attended to me were excellent. However, on the 6th of March my attending nurse clearly did joy want to be there. Sy was charged with administering any medications I need. Around 12pm I had not seen my nurse since 6am. I pressed the call nurse button. After a while another nurse showed up and I asked for medication. She left to go get my attending nurse who showed up after another long while. She got my pain medication ready to be administered via IV line. We noticed some air bubbles in the IV Line and asked her if that is safe, she fidgeted with the iv line to no avail, and then left leaving the IV Line still filled with air, and continuing to fill with air bubbles between the medicine. After all the fluid ran down the line the line continued to fill with a large air bubble. Before it could enter my circulation I closed the line. After about another 30 minutes she came back to check on the line and I told her that I closed it to prevent the air from entering my veins. She pretended to not see the air in the line. My doctor came around at 2pm and discharged me but I was to get one more dose of antibiotics via IV before I go. This time the nurse said she will have to clear the line of all the air as it could be dangerous. I was prepared to wait, as I would rather spend a whole longer there than risk getting infection, but instead the nurse pulled out my IV line. I told her I will wait so she can put a new IV line for the antibiotics but she said she would have done it if I was staying but since I'm leaving she is not going to do it. She refused to assist me with getting my last dose of antibiotics and I was forced to leave. I feel the fact that she did not care about the possibility of me getting an air embolism which could be fatal is gross negligence and should be seriously addressed by hospital administration before she ****s someone. I do not have her name but I was in section 3 Room 1 bed 1 from 5 to 6 March 2018. Mrs M Nell. She signed my discharge papers.
Traded in my Figo for a Focus on 4th of September 2017. Took delivery of the car, which I was promised would have a new windscreen, still chipped. Was promised it would be replaced on Tuesday 5 Sept. After having to follow up multiple times, finally got replaced on Thursday 7 Sept. They broke the plastic on the side of the window. Promised it would be replaced after taking my car in again.... That's still not done. Was promised a 160 point check was done before taking delivery on 4 Sept. Found multiple issues with the car, including: wheel balancing was off, wheels were loose my husband had to tighten the nuts, no cover under the engine only a torn rag, vent in back window missing. It's the 1st of October today. First payment goes off tomorrow the car is still not on my name, no license plates, no license disks. Still driving on a permit and still waiting for the plastic windscreen thing?! I would complain about the service but there is none! Gideon keeps on making empty promises. It's getting to the point of absolute absurdity! Would not recommend anyone to enter into any dealing with this branch. You pay premium prices for what?
