I recently upgraded my phone with Mtn from my S2 to the S6, on Saturday i put the phone on charge, it was actually on my chest while i watched tv. It suddenly got extremely hot and the phone said it had overheated and will shut down. I took the charger out of the phone and noticed burn marks on the metal part of the charger and the plastic in the phone and the charger had melted. i have returned the phone to mtn and the inform me that i will have to wait for 2 weeks before i get a new phone? I don't know anybody who can live 2 weeks with out their phone these days! i am writing this because mtn wont help me and because this situation could of been allot worse. What happened if the phone did catch on fire or worse exploded? can you please inform me what the police is for faulty products? As i am aware with the CPA i would have up to 6 months to exchange it but according to Mtn that is not the case? I just want a phone that works and wont maybe blow my face away. can you please help me regarding this matter urgently?
