I am a business owner that make use of various courier companies in South Africa and I'm sad to say that the customer service that Fastway couriers provide to their clients is by far the worst out of any courier service I make use of and to be honest overall one of the worst companies I have dealt with period. My dealings with Yolandi du Preez, the service consultant, whom takes forever to respond to quarries and problems, she shifts the blame to other departments when she doesn't do her job and she doesn't follow up with her clients unless you continuously harass her for feedback or info and even then still nothing happens to sort out the clients needs. While I had unsatisfactory experiences with her (Fastway couriers) in the past (so this is not an isolated issue) the latest one has lead me to wright this review, something I don't often do. However I would like to warn other business owners not to do business with them as the frustration due to the poor service you will likely receive from them, at least based om my experience is definitely not worth it to save a few rand on shipping fees compared to some of the other courier companies around. The latest frustration for me has been something so simple as closing my account with them and getting a refund on the remaining funds in my account. This seemingly simple request has been dragging on now since 11 January 2023 (3 weeks to date) and despite numerous emails and attempts to get it sorted from my side, my account is still not closed, I still haven't received my refund and I haven't received feedback from anyone on Fastway's side with regards to what is being done to assist and finalize my request. So from my side, if I could give Fastway couriers and Yolandi du Preez a minus star rating I certainly would of done so.
I Placed my order with them on the 8th of January 2021, it is now 9 March 2021 and I still haven't received my package. You also don't get any response from them when you enquire about your order. DON'T waist your money dealing with this company...They are either crooked or don't care about the customer at all. No doubt they will be out of business soon
