Disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with Online Car Parts!!! I ordered parts on the 19-06-2024 via their online store. I then contacted them telephonically to schedule courier collection and their sales person (Tracey) confirmed that the parts would be ready for collection. I booked and paid for Courier to collect on 21-06-2024, but when the courier arrived to collect, the order was apparently not ready and the courier was told by them to leave. At no point in this process did Tracey or anyone else bother to contact me and inform me that the order was not ready. I found the above out from my courier. After several messages and phone calls back and forth to Online Car Parts, I was again told that the order is ready and we can resend the courier (confirmed via message as well), which cost me again to book. On 25-06-2024, the courier again went to collect and was again told to leave as there was apparently no parcel for them to collect. This was done after Tracey confirmed they could collect and was sent a copy of the waybill from the courier company, so she was fully aware. Again, Online Car Parts did not bother to contact us to inform me of any of this. I had to find out again via the courier. I called them again on 26-06-2024 and spoke to an apparent manager (Francisca). She attempted to give an excuse that they did not release the order, as their website pay gate was problematic and they apparently didn't receive confirmation of the order. None of which is valid, as this was all sent to Tracey well before. She then went on to assure me that the order would be sent immediately with their couriers, and as I had been messed around for several days and incurred courier costs twice, I told her that this parcel now needs to be sent via overnight couriers, in order to avoid further delays. She confirmed and promised that it would be done, and that I would receive a tracking number in the next few minutes. I eventually received a tracking number from them this morning 27-06-2024 (not the same day as promised during our call on 26-06-2024), and they booked it via economy, not overnight as promised. This is sadly not the first time I have had this sort of experience with them, as they always seem to have excuses and make empty promises. I will rather support other auto spares companies in future.
I ordered a set of fuel injectors for a 2004 Fiat Stilo from Speedquip.co.za. Before paying, I contacted them via Whatsapp to confirm stock. The fuel injectors arrived quite quickly, which I was happy about, but they were not correct and did not fit the car. I contacted them again via their Whatsapp number and requested a refund or exchange for a set that fits the car, but they have ignored me for the last two and a half weeks. Really disappointing service.
Beware of Affordable Smartphones (AKA asmart.co.za). They take your order and payment, then stop communicating thereafter and to date they have not delivered my device.
<div>I ordered a replacement Honda engine from Clive's Bikes (AKA ***** ) on 6 October 2021, but to date nothing has been received. Clive's Bikes are quick to give excuse after excuse, but fail to deliver on any of their promises. After 6 months of empty promises and excuses, they agreed to refund me, but nothing has been received to date. Avoid this "business" at all costs!</div>
