Lets be honest, no one expects much when dealing with Vodacom, but they actually managed to shock me today. I needed airtime and so I opened the app and selected the buy option. I selected airtime, I selected the number it was for, I selected the payment method, then selected one of the deals on offer which in this case was R 5.00 for one hours call time. Confirmed everything only to be told on the next screen the air time could only be used to call Vodacom numbers. ***? That's like taking a dump, flushing the toilet and toilet water hits you in the face. When you leave the bathroom there is a notice on the door saying "Beware, toilet water will splash in your face when you flush."
I transferred additional funds into my revolving credit facility in order to access funds in the facility. Once the transaction was complete I was unable to transfer funds out. Several phone calls later (2 hours on the phone) the revolving credit facility has a hold on it that no one is able to lift and FNB can't reverse the transaction. Let's think about this, FNB can't reverse a transaction from FNB account to another FNB account. Calling FNB is pointless, the holds to speak to someone are anything from 11 minutes to 25 minutes and the staff seem unable (or is that unwilling?) to help, they just transfer the call, I went from Wealth clients, to FNB card, to premier banking to a recording about business hours and several dropped calls on the way. Never been more disappointed and frustrated with a company in my life.
The cables came off the drum on my garage door, as a result the door was unable to open or close with the motor. The cables were badly worn. I contacted Mr Gate Mr Garage , they came out and quoted R 3400.00 to replace both cables, springs, one hinge and the shaft. I was advised that the shaft had not been installed properly and had bent and that the springs and cables were worn. I paid to have the job done and the work was carried out, the door worked perfectly and I was a very happy customer. Six weeks later while closing the door the cable on the right comes off the drum, the spring on the right unwinds leaving the spring on the left to carry the full weight of the door. The right side of the door drops down violently. The sudden shift in weight to one side bends the rails the door runs on, three hinges that hold the panels together and that hold the wheels in rails break, one wheel goes right through the corner rail. Three wheels on the right derail and three on the left derail. Thankfully the door jams in the frame on the right and this stops it crashing down on the cars in the garage. However the situation is far from stable, The door is still partially open two panels are completely detached at either end. It takes three men risking life and limb to get the door to a point where it can be closed and then opened to get the cars out and to safety. The door does not close fully and I am forced to spend the night with compromised security. I call Mr Gate Mr Garage the next day and explain the problem. They send out a technician who then bends the rails back into place to a point where the door is able to open and close, they advise they will be back the next day to replace damaged brackets. The next day I get a quote from Mr Gate Mr Garage for R 2317.25 to replace all the hinges (keep in mind one of these hinges was replaced 6 weeks back) they also want to replace the broken corner rail and other brackets. There is also a labour charge. I immediately call and explain that every single part being replaced was damaged as a result of the cable coming off the drum and that the original problem was the cable coming off the drum, I do not agree that I am liable for the parts that need replacing. The following day I am called and told that the damage was not caused by the cable coming off the drum. Now I am not a garage door expert (and at this point I do not believe Mr Gate Mr Garage are either) but any ***** who understands how gravity works can see the damage was caused by the door falling down as a direct result of the cable coming off the drum. The only way the door can fall is if the cable or spring fail. I ask to speak to the owner of the business but my request was denied "because he made the decision I should pay for the repair." So my advise is if you are considering using Mr Gate Mr Garage just be aware that; 1. They may not quote on everything that needs to be done. 2. If their repair is ineffective although they claim to provide a 90 day warranty on parts and labour do not expect this to be honoured. 3. The job may not be completed correctly. Had that door fallen on the two cars in the garage at the time I suppose I would be liable for the damage and hassle to sort that out too. What really upsets me most is what if that door fell on one of the kids? 150 kg falling from 3 meters, they would be dead. Mr Gate Mr Garage could careless, they are out to make a quick buck and if the job is not done correctly then sorry for you bud. Beware and be warned when dealing with Mr Gate Mr Garage.

I was requested by my employer to takeover my company issued cellphone. I submitted my application on the 3rd of December 2015. I did get feedback that I needed to submit RICA documents, this was done three times. After the thrid time I was ignored. To date I have had zero feedback on this transfer. I have sent numerous emails which all get ignored. There is a finacial impact for me in this delay but no one at Vodacom could be bothered to assist me. I have sent a number of emails to Charmaine Erasmus, Lerato Plessie and Abongile Nkomo none of them have bothered to respond. The level of service is pathetic, to say the ball has been dropped in this instance would be a gross understatement. Why does Vodacom employ people who provide the absolute worst customer service? Why does Vodacom not hold these people accountable for their appauling work ethic?

Had Streamline do some repairs on my vehicle and have to say I am completely blown a way by the service and end result. If you are considering using this company for any vehicle repairs do not hesitate. They are completely professional and do amazing work. Keep it up!!
