Despite Covid19 these guys UNDERpromise AND underdeliver on those promises. March 11 Reached out to Clives Bikes to see if they're able to supply clutch assembly for motorcycle. March 12 - March 13 Price and ordering process confirmation. Was advised lead time is 5-6 weeks and thereafter custom clearance. Was given the impression the parts are Japanese. March 17 Quote Received and Payment Made March 18 Payment Confirmation received, was advised part will be delivered between 15-19 June. May 3 Mailed Clives Bikes to see what the status of the roder is and whether everything is still going as planned. Was advised due to C19 they'll only be able to operate once lockdown reached between level 2-3. July 9 Informed Clives Bikes that my delivery address has changed, also provided the updated delivery adress. Clives Bikes noted the change and I was informed I will be contacted before delivery. August 31 Clives Bikes sends out an update to customers regarding the status of our deliveries. At this stage we were notified of new ownership and that the unpacking of shipping containers will be done in 9 days. They also had a change in advertising to some degree, most of their online presence now shows they sell Chinese parts. September 14 Sent out a reminder email to Clives Bikes about my change in delivery adress. Was informed this has been noted. Was contacted shortly after and was informed deliveries have already been amde and I should have received my part. I have not. Owner Clive was unable to provide any tracking information for the delivery (likely because there is no part to deliver). His excuse for the part going missing is due to them needing to switch to to other delivery partner. October 1 Was sent a copy of a police avidavid stating some customer's order have been misplaced as well as a copy of several refunds they made to customers. I was advised that they are still trying to contact dealers to identify what happened with my order. Was asked to send my banking details so they can furnish a refund if they cannot find the parts. October 2 Sent Clives Bikes proof of my account details for refund. October 12 Asked Clives Bikes what's going on with the refund/searching process. AM advised that someone will call me shortly. October 13 Sent follow up because last time I checked the definition for "shortly" it was not "24 hours later"! Was contacted shortly therafter stating the refunnds are going out on the last day of the month, despite this being a Saturday. As of now Clives Bikes have been given until the 5th of November, allowing 3 days after their refund date for funds to clear.
