Buy fish? No, it’s buy fish and lose your money.
I bought about R1000 of fish in January. I never received them. I then asked for a refund, which four months down the line I ALSO haven’t received. I made contact with the owner, Naas Wienand, who always apologizes profusely and promises that I will receive my money back. PROMISED REFUNDS ON SET DATES NEVER HAPPEN. He uses the excuse that he recently opened a new store which has negatively impacted his cash flow; he therefore cannot refund owed funds because he’s already spent it. Word of warning: do not buy from this store. It’s a total s c a m.

Malpractice | Divorce Priceedings
Michael van Rensburg was the lawyer who handled my divorce on behalf of LJ Attorneys. . Proceedings commenced in 2016. They never advised the status of my divorce, or that I had officially become divorced. I found out I was divorced by chance during a routine enquiry at the Department of Home Affairs in 2020. I have repeatedly requested my decree of divorce since then from both LJ Attorneys and Michael van Rensburg. It is 2024 now, 8 years after my divorce proceedings started, and I still do not have proof that I am actually divorced. Bear in mind that they have been paid in full. I will never recommend anyone use the services of this establishment. They bring the integrity of the profession into disrepute. TL;DR Keen to take your money, not so keen on you.

Irresponsive Service
If I could give a -1 rating I would. The service level at this institution has been nothing short of horrific: from technical support through to customer relations. Everything is a graft. They have been very quick to relieve me of my money, however when I’ve needed them, are nowhere to be seen. I’ve been trying to cancel my account since the beginning of 2023, to no avail. All requests to the “customer experience” department go unanswered. I will never recommend this service.

Deleted App due to Bad Experience
The amount of negative reviews on here speak volumes. More so is the fact that Mr D does not respond to any of them... This is truly a company that does not care. This echoes my experience with Mr D. They are very happy to relieve you of your money, but are not willing to listen to loyal and paying customers. I recently had a bad experience that sealed the deal for me. An order was made but the items received were not what was ordered. The full amount I paid was not returned either. All other communications from me was ignored. I am happy to say that this incident has given me the incentive to delete the Mr D app, Thanks for saving me some money, Mr D! I will not support you ever again. Cheers!

Great service!
Having received a notice from MiWay that my vehicle insurance premium would be increasing, I immediately gave them a call to discuss lowering my premium. Anathi was very friendly, understanding and kind and assisted me to drop my premium by R120, without increasing any of my excesses. In the current economic climate, any savings are welcome! Anathi was efficient and swift in taking down the relevant details and also spotted areas where I could save. Now this is what I call service. Thanks MiWay and Anathi!
