Dropped my car off for a service at 8h40am at CHM Volvo Hatfield. Asked whether a technician would call me to let me know what work needs to be done on the vehicle - was told yes, of course. By 13h30 - no call, so I called Volvo - no answers, so I sent an e-mail. Same procedure at 16h05 - called & e-mailed. Same procedure the next day at 7h40 - called & e-mailed. Eventually got a call back - car is ready. Enquired about work done, specifically whether break pads / discs require replacement. Was told that a technician would call me in under 10 minutes. Call never came. Went to collect car, said that am still waiting for technician to call. Person at reception (whom I spoke to earlier) did not seem to care. Then could not find my car's key, so I left. The only reason I'll take the car back for its next service is because it is still on a motor plan. After that, CMH Volvo Hatfield can kiss my hard-earned cash goodbye.
We had a difficult start with Pilot when we upgraded to the full version. It took a couple of weeks to sort everything out but we now have a technician whom we can contact directly instead of calling the helpline, which is very useful. The system is now running smoothly. Our account manager Dirkie Coetzee is doing his best to ensure that all goes well going forward. Had we been provided with this kind of service from the start, we would have given them 5 stars.
Unfortunately Hello Peter does not allow me to put zero stars as a rating as this is what Pilot POS Software deserves. Zero for after-sales service, zero for customer care, zero for a system functionality, zero for the helpline that is not being answered. Pathetic service with a capital P. Meet on Milner, Waterkloof, Pretoria.
