I needed to replace the cloth on a shadeport. Coolshade were VERY quick to send the salesperson to quote on 16 February. At the time he said that delivery would take 2 weeks. I paid 50% deposit on 17 February. To date (5 weeks later) they have not fulfilled my order.. An employee called Jacques (no surname provided) has phoned me, has made vague promises, but there is never an actual promise as to when the job will be done.<br> <br> I cannot warn other people enough to stay away from this example of ineptitude and don't-give-a-f**k company service.<br> <br> Today I will be laying criminal charges against Coolshade.
I generally only use HP to complain about service providers, but there is also a time to compliment when you get excellent service and products from a company. I required a customised, large front sliding gate and the experience with Paul's Gates was excellent. The design process, communication during the fabrication stage, installation and follow-up was exemplary. The gate itself is well constructed, with many details that come from not cutting corners and from, obviously, many years of experience. I do not know if the price, relative to other providers, was competitive, but I do feel that I got great value for money.<br> <br> Well done Graham and Paul.
